Welcome back to another Fantasy Premier League Tips article. In this brief analysis @naturalFootyFan has made use of goalprojection.com statistics to forecast each club's goal scoring and clean sheet potential in Gameweek 17. We have used these findings to provide player tips for both the official FPL game, as well as some Daily Fantasy pointers for Bet4TheBest - focusing on their unique scoring system.

Gameweek 17 Tips - Fantasy Premier League & Daily Fantasy

As you can see from the projections, Tottenham are the outright favourites to find the net this weekend. They face a Burnley side who have lost six of their seven away fixtures this season, conceding 16 times and scoring just once. With this in mind, Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are excellent options for the FPL captains armband in Gameweek 17. Their side will dominate everything from possession, free kicks, corners, chances created and shots on target. It's just a choice between the more-involved Eriksen or the more-advanced Kane. Both players have contributed with five goals in their last six Premier League appearances, however, the former boasts a higher average of key passes (2.6) and attempted shots (4) per game. Tottenham have had 102 attempts this season, whilst conceding 49 attempts - the best record in the Premier League. In comparison, Burnley have had 43 attempts and conceded 102 - the worst record in England's top flight. So it's no surprise that Spurs also lead the way in terms of clean sheet probablity. They have a 57% implied chance of shutting out Burnley, which is actually being very fair on a traveling side who have scored just a solitary goal away from home all season. Kyle Walker and Danny Rose will be popular amongst Daily Fantasy players, especially on Bet4TheBest. Doubling up on this attacking pair, alongside Kane and Eriksen could provide the perfect balance of goal-scoring and clean sheet potential. West Ham are another team with promise at both ends of the park as they host Hull this weekend. Their opposition have failed to score in all of their last four Premier League away matches, conceding eight times in the process. The returning Andy Carroll put in a solid mid-week performance and will be itching to get his name on the scoresheet, while Dimitri Payet owners will be licking their lips in anticipation of the big Englishman getting his head on the end of a freekick or corner or the Frenchman taking responsibility himself. Both players are excellent picks in FPL and DFF for Gameweek 17, however, you must be aware that on Bet4TheBest minus points will be given for every three shots off target… and we mention this because The Hammers will likely be hammering shot after shot at Hull's goal. If looking for West Ham defensive coverage, then Aaron Cresswell should be your number one choice. The fullback is always looking to whip the ball in with that sweet left foot, so with Carroll sniffing around inside the box his chances for an assist have been boosted. For Bet4TheBest, he could even be a differential captaincy option seen as defenders are awarded 8pts for a goal, compared to a midfielder/strikers 5pts, as well as 5pts for an assist compared to a midfielder and strikers 2pts and 1pt respectively. Elsewhere, Southampton are starting to look reliable in defence again, but still struggling in front of goal. With this in mind, Virgil Van Dijk and Fraser Forster are good picks across all scoring systems, but we'd advise steering clear of their Austin-less frontline for now. Chelsea are worth considering whatever the projections and no matter the fixture thrown at them this season, but nevertheless, there's only so many of their players you can fit in. In defence, stick with Marcus Alonso for FPL and maybe ad free-kick man David Luiz in Daily Fantasy. In attack, we are all sweating over the fitness of Eden Hazard, while player of the season so far, Diego Costa, is a no-brainer with five goals and three assists in his last seven Premier League matches. Cesc Fabregas has also hit form, but could prove too much of a headache to get into your squad. Written By: Clarke Hutchison Data Provided By: Steve Jackson
