Welcome to another Serie A Fantasy Football article. Tom Daniels picks out his top 5 fantasy tips for Gameweek 28.
Gameweek 27 turned out to be an eventful week for Juventus as the reigning Champions held onto top spot with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Inter Milan. However, Napoli and Fiorentina suffered minor setbacks in their Serie A campaign - a 1-1 draw between the two sides means ground lost on The Old Lady.
Fiorentina also dropped out of the champion's league spots due to Roma comfortably beating Empoli 3-1. Elsewhere AC Milan continued their impressive run by beating Torino 1-0 - they are now only just one point off a Europa league spot which is currently occupied by their San Siro rivals Inter Milan.
Sampdoria also provided a much needed 2-0 victory against Frosinone, taking them five points off the relegation zone, and finally, Frosinone, Carpi and Verona were unable to win in Gameweek 27 - the trio still remain in the relegation places.
Here are our top five tips for the weekend all of our player prices are from our partners at

Tip 1 Napoli to return to winning ways
In Gameweek 27 Napoli couldn't get the all-important victory against Fiorentina, putting Juventus in a strong position at the top of the Serie A table. This means Napoli, more than ever, need to get a victory against Chievo to have any chance of challenging for the title. There are a variety of positions that could gain points in this game but we highly recommend
Pepe Reina (6.9m) and
Gonzalo Higuain (14.9m). It's rare that we pick a striker and a goalkeeper from the same team, however, Napoli don't look like conceding and Higuain is a shoe-in. Having not won in their last 3 Serie A games Napoli will go out attacking from the start, and against a Chievo side that is consistently mid-table, they should score.
Tip 2 Bologna to keep a clean sheet
Bologna have slowly started to climb their way up the table and now sit in 9th. They are now undefeated in four games, and are boasted by the fact they have only conceded once over this period. With this in mind we recommend
Daniele Gastaldello (8.2m) as a defender that could provide your fantasy team with some decent points. The Bologna captain has been in some fine form as of late having picked up three clean sheets in his last game. Carpi have scored the fewest goals in the Serie A (along with Verona and Udinese). Another option is his defensive partner
Domenico Maietta (7.0m). Since returning from injury, the veteran defender has been brilliant for Bologna - the club have not lost with him in the Starting XI.
Tip 3 AC Milan to snatch a victory against Sassuolo
AC Milan extended their unbeaten run to nine matches in Gameweek 27 following a reasonably comfortable 1-0 victory over Torino. This time they are against a Sassuolo team that is somewhat gaining momentum following back-to-back wins. Milan will want nothing more than to overtake Inter Milan and that should provide the team with a much needed boost towards a victory. We recommend that AC Milan's midfield will be key in this match, so
Juraj Kucka (5.6m) could prove to be pivotal. Having joined in the summer, Kucka has found it difficult to make his mark at AC Milan ,however, he has been consistent this season. Last week was arguably one of Kucka's best performances in a Milan shirt. For a safer option we recommend
Giacomo Bonaventura (13.2m). The Italian has contributed with 6 goals and 9 assists this campaign.
Tip 4 Sampdoria to keep on scoring
Sampdoria have been scoring for fun and after last week's 2-0 victory over Frosinone they have now matched AC Milan's goal scoring tally in Serie A. We recommend you put
Fabio Quagliarella (8.0m) and
Roberto Soriano (7.4m) in your team as both have proven they can score when it counts. Quagliarella has now settled into Sampdoria having recently been at Torino and with two goals in his last two games, it looks like he has started to find his shooting instinct again. Soriano has been one of Sampdoria's best players with 7 goals and 3 assists to his name this season. Verona have conceded 45 goals this Serie A campaign and Verona's keeper Pierluigi Gollini has only managed to get one clean sheet in 15 games.
Tip 5 Icardi to score against Palermo
Mauro Icardi (9.2m) has been a stand out star for Inter Milan this season and could be the man to put Inter's season back on track. The Argentina International has consistently performed and despite his team having a rocky run of form he has still managed to record three goals in five games. Icardi is Inter Milan's top goalscorer this season with 11 goals and will be looking to extend this tally against Palermo. Another worthy mention is Marcelo Brozovic who will be looking to continue with his momentum from the Copa Italia, after scoring two goals versus Juventus.
