Welcome back to another Fantasy La Liga five tips article for Gameweek 19. This week,
Callum Read highlights his top five tips ahead of Gameweek 19 in La Liga.
Well, it's adios to Rafa Benitez who was sacked by Real Madrid following a 2-2 draw against his former employers Valencia. Benitez has been replaced with Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane who has spent the last two years managing Real Madrid Castilla. It's certainty an interesting appointment and it makes for interesting reading, putting a former player and legend in charge of the club could really have a negative impact on the former French midfielder. His reputation is on the line and he needs to deliver a trophy within the next 18 months to please the Los Blancos fans.
Here are our five tips for Gameweek 19 of La Liga - our prices come from our partners over at

Tip 1 Villarreal to win convincingly.
Villarreal's 2-1 win over Celta Vigo made it five wins on the bounce for Marcelino's side and leaves them in fourth place, just one point behind third placed Real Madrid. This weekend they welcome Sporting Gijon to Estadio El Madrigal with all the sides leading to a convincing home win. Sporting Gijon have lost their last five away games conceding 15 goals in the process. Their recent performances have left little to be desired and leave Abelardo's side in the relegation zone. It's
Cédric Bakambu (MO:7.9m, FB: 8.0m) who has been Villarreal's main man for goals this season. If you want a midfielder to back, take a look at
Bruno (MO:10.1m, FB: 7.0m) he's looking to make it three goals in three league games.
Tip 2 A clean sheet for Getafe.
Pepe Mel takes his Real Betis side to central Spain to face Getafe; Betis are in a horrid run of form only picking up nine points in their last 10 league games (W2 D2 L5), in that run of games they only found the back of the net five times. Their talisman Ruben Castro is struggling to find the back of the net and the rest of the squad rarely contributes goals. It's now four games since Mel's side scored and it wont get any easier as Getafe have one of the better home records in La Liga (W4 D3 L2) but it's their defensive work that is earning all the plaudits. Fran Esbribá's side have only shipped six goals at home.
Santiago Vergini (MO: N/A, FB: 4.5m) and
Damián Suárez (MO: N/A, FB: 5.0m) as well as goalkeeper
Vicente Guaita (MO: N/A, FB: 4.5m) all have a great chance of keeping a clean sheet this Saturday.
Tip 3 Valencia's out of position defender.
Gary Neville is yet to record a league win as Valencia boss but his sides 4-0 win over Granada in the Copa Del Rey showed signs of improvements under the English manager. Under Nuno
João Cancelo (MO: N/A, FB: 5.0m) played as a right back, since Neville has taken over the Portuguese defender is being used as a right winger, he's taken to the roll like a duck to water and is starting to make it his own. The wonderful thing for us Daily Fantasy Football players is Cancelo is still listed as a defender on both
MondoGoal and
FantasyBet; this means if he does grab an assist or a goal he will acquire more points that required. He faces Real Sociedad this weekend who themselves are struggling for form and have looked weak at the back in recent weeks.
Tip 4 Rayo Vallecano to finally get a win.
This weekend see's a massive six pointer at the bottom of the table as Levante play hosts to Rayo Vallecano. It's been a difficult start to the season for both sides but in recent weeks Paco Jemez's side have put in some strong performances. It's the typical Rayo Vallecano story; they struggle at the start of the season and then when all the new signings click they pull of a relegation escape. That fight for survival should start this weekend against the bottom placed side in La Liga.
Javi Guerra (MO: 8.5m, FB: 8.4m) is the pick of the Vallecano players he has six league goals to his name this season. Elsewhere
Jozabed (MO: 5.5m, FB: 8.5m) and
Lass Bangoura (MO: 6.0m, FB: 3.7m) offer strong midfield value.
Tip 5 Barcelona to bounce back.
Last weekend Barcelona struggled to break down Espanyol's defence and could only take a 0-0 home with them. The result will certainly have frustrated Luis Enrique and his players; they will be looking to set it straight this weekend when Granada are the guests at the Camp Nou. It's the usual trident of
Luis Suarez (MO: 18.4m, FB: 13.5m) Neymar (MO: 17.2m, FB: 14.0m) and
Lionel Messi (MO: 19.7m, FB: 16.0m) who are the standout picks for this weekend. Elsewhere
Andrés Iniesta (MO: 10.1m, FB: 9.5m) and
Ivan Rakitic (MO: 9.1m, FB: 10.0m) make for affordable midfield options. Granada are coming off the back of a 4-0 Copa del Rey defeat to Valencia in which their defence looked incredibly weak.
