Braveheart's GW33 reveal:
Firstly, I want to apologise for last week's article. Due to work commitments I was unable to find the time to write my thoughts. But to catch you up on my team, I haven't yet wildcarded and I brought in Son and Iheanacho last week. At the time of writing my GW32 score is pretty meh but I'm still hovering around the top 70k so I'm hoping I can push on from there!
My "bus" team for blank GW33 is as follows:
Pope v Wolves (a),
Targett v West Brom (h), Azpilicueta v West Ham (a), Coufal v Chelsea (h),
Fernandes v Leeds (a), Raphinha v Man United (h), Lingard v Chelsea (h), Soucek v Chelsea (h),
Watkins v West Brom (h), Iheanacho v Crystal Palace (h)
With only one free transfer and 4.4m in the bank the obvious transfer for me is to bring in Salah for Son. The latter doesn't have a fixture this week whereas the former does, and it is an attractive fixture at home to Newcastle. Despite the very recent form of both teams, Liverpool are the heaviest favourites this gameweek and have the highest probability of scoring more than two. As Salah is their talisman (and was rested against Leeds), bringing him in this weeks seems to be the obvious move and if doing so, the Egyptian King will likely be my captain this week.
If I make the anticipated transfer, my team this week would be:
Pope v Wolves (a),
Targett v West Brom (h), Azpilicueta v West Ham (a), Coufal v Chelsea (h),
Salah (Captain) v Newcastle (h), Fernandes v Leeds (a), Raphinha v Man United (h), Lingard v Chelsea (h), Soucek v Chelsea (h),
Watkins v West Brom (h), Iheanacho v Crystal Palace (h)
The team is not set in stone until the deadline so please follow me at @FPLBraveheart on Twitter for any updates. All the best and I hope everyone reading gets green arrows in GW33. But, most importantly, stay safe out there (or, more accurately, at home)!
