After NaturalFootyFan analysed the best budget defenders on the official EURO 2016 Fantasy Football competition, Callum Read brings you his best budget midfielder options for the tournament. Midfielders are a key cog in any Fantasy Football team, their ability to score high from goals and assists means you need to select those who contribute towards their sides attacking output. The likes of Sergio Busquets comes in cheap on the Euro 2016 Fantasy Football game, but realistically his points return isn't going to be matched by a more attacking option. There are midfield options who stand out like a sore thumb, the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Mesut Ozil and Anthony Martial all offer luxury purchases and offer both goals and assists to their national team. We've delved into the budget options (max: 6.5m) to bring you four midfielders who you could consider for your side.

Budget Midfielders For Euro Fantasy:

26073072101_d7a9875e64_kDele Alli (6.5m) Group Fixtures: Russia, Wales & Slovakia This time last year Dele Alli had just secured promotion to the Championship with MK Dons and rumours were circulating about where the central midfielder would spend the following season on loan. It was the complete opposite for the 20-year-old who after a string of impressive pre-season performances earned his place in Mauricio Pochettino's Spurs side. 33 Premier League games, 10 goals and nine assists later the Englishmen is now a regular starter in Roy Hodgson's England team. It's very likely that Alli will start most games at the Euro's, his confidence on the ball and his willingness to take risks has captured the hearts of the English fans. In the Premier League this season he averaged 2.2 shots and 1.7 key passes per game. For just £6.5m you're investing in a midfielder who not only possesses a goal scoring threat but one who can also turn provider when needed.2014-05-30_Austria_-_Iceland_football_match,_Zlatko_Junuzović_0811Zlatko Junuzovic (6.5m) Group Fixtures: Iceland, Portugal & Hungary Austria qualified for the European Championships with an unbeaten record (W9, D1, L0) and will be hoping to take their competitive form with them to France. The likes of David Alaba, Christian Fuchs and Marko Arnautovic are the most recognisable names in the squad but Werder Bremen's Zlatko Junuzovic will be hoping to impress on the big stage. He's one of the most underrated players in the Bundesliga, he has a wonderful eye for a pass, averaging 2.8 key passes per game. His creative nature resulted in the Austrian assisting 10 goals this campaign - 7 more than the next Bremen player. It's likely he will feature behind the striker in the #10 position, where he can really strut his stuff. His quick feet and danger in the final third will make him a nightmare for opposition defenders. The 28-year-old is also deadly from set pieces and can also turn goalscorer when necessary, contributing with four goals in the Bundesliga season. Austria are one of the most exciting, yet unknown teams this summer and could prove to be dark horses for the Euro's. For £6.5m you'll be investing in a player who is key to his side's attacking output.PORTUGALRafa Silva (4.5m) Group Fixtures: Iceland, Austria & Hungary Having been an unused substitute in the 2014 World Cup, Rafa Silva will be hoping to make an impact on the Portugal team in France. His performances for Braga this season have caught the eye of both Liverpool and Manchester United, while Portuguese side Porto have also registered their interest in the winger. In his 30 Liga NOS games this season Rafa Silva has scored eight goals and assisted two, whilst in the Europa League the 23-year-old contributed a further three goals and four assists. This selection does carry some rotation risk though as the Braga man will be battling Valencia's Andre Gomes for his spot. Fernando Santos does seem to be an admirer of the youngster, which could see him pip Gomes to the starting position. In terms of his chances of providing you points this summer, we'd rank them quite high. Firstly on paper, Portugal have two favourable fixtures against Iceland and Hungary, and if Cristiano Ronaldo goes into the Euros fit as a fiddle, Rafa Silva could find himself assisting the Real Madrid man. The winger is best when cutting inside and running into the box, he has pace and quick feet which make him a real danger for Portugal in the final third.Brazil_and_Croatia_match_at_the_FIFA_World_Cup_2014-06-12_(36)Marcelo Brozovic (6.5m) Group Fixtures: Turkey, Czech Republic & Spain After a successful loan spell with Inter Milan the Croatian midfielder has attracted interest from European clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea. He's a technically gifted player who is capable of chipping in with both goals and assists for his side - registering four of both this season in Serie A. It's his creative outlet where he really shines, the Inter Milan man has excellent vision and pinpoint passing but also has a dangerous finish from range in him. With the wealth of talent in the Croatian midfield, expect to see Brozovic playing in the pivot role in a 4-2-3-1 system alongside either Modric or Rakitic. With Perisic on the wing and Mario Mandzukic up front the midfielder has plenty of talent around him to find with his through balls. With Brozovic you're investing in a player who will likely grab you more assists than goals, but one who is definitely worth his weight in gold.
