Premier League GW30 Starts Saturday 3rd April 2021
Rejoice as the final international break of the season is behind us and now it is the final push towards the end of this FPL campaign. Are you in the right position to mount a championship charge or do you have too much ground to make up?
In a gameweek that only witnessed four Premier League matches take place, there was little in the way of movers and shakers and even though Bruno Fernandes was inactive, he still manages to command an 18-point lead at the top of the table.
He is currently clear of Harry Kane and with the England international being one of the handful of players who did take to the field, his penalty at Aston Villa sees Fernandes' lead at the top become slightly eroded.
Subsequently Kane's penalty also gained an advantage over teammate Heung min-Son and although he did not feature in Tottenham's 2-0 win over Aston Villa, manager Jose Mourinho will be hoping the South Korean is fit for Tuesday's visit to Newcastle.
Another player who had a spare week before the international break was Mohamed Salah and although he stays fourth in the table, the gap between himself and Patrick Bamford was smaller than it was before.
Bamford scored the opener against Fulham and after picking up a decent points haul at Craven Cottage; he solidifies his fifth place by keeping Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez at bay for another week.
The Argentine goalkeeper featured in Tottenham's win at Villa Park and if we are being overly cynical, it was arguably one of his worst performances since moving from Arsenal. However, there is no doubting he has been an incredibly steady hand across the season.
While the remaining four players in the top 10 where all in F.A. Cup action, therefore there is no change from seventh to tenth. While the highest scoring defender in the game at present is still West Ham's Aaron Cresswell, as the Hammer has 135 FPL points to his name.

Did You Know?
Manchester City have won 17 of their last 18 matches (Premier League). The only blot on the copybook being their derby defeat to Manchester United. Will there be another blot against Leicester this weekend?
Sheffield Utd have lost 14 of their last 16 away matches (Premier League). Nothing in the way of new manager bounce, stick a fork in them because they are done.
Southampton have lost 10 of their last 12 matches (Premier League). At least their F.A. Cup run has provided some form of tonic, if only because their league form has been rather woeful.
There have been under 2.5 goals scored in Liverpool's last 5 games (Premier League). Nowhere near the free-flowing attacking team that they were last season.
Newcastle have failed to win their last 6 matches (Premier League). A run that is all too worrying for fans of the Magpies and if this run gets much longer, there is every chance Steve Bruce and his players will sleep walk their way into the EFL Championship.
There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Fulham's last 9 away games (Premier League) and Fulham are undefeated in their last 8 away matches (Premier League). Could Scott Parker's men get something at Villa Park this weekend? With no Jack Grealish for the hosts there is every chance.
Manchester City have had the most shots on target per game in the Premier League this season, with 5.87. To be honest, you probably did already know that.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) has scored the most penalties in the Premier League this season, with 8. To be honest, you probably knew that one as well.
In terms of the baddest boys in the Premier League at the moment, it is an accolade that is currently shared by Crystal Palace's Luka Milivojevic and Sheffield United's John Lundstram, as the pair have picked up seven bookings and one red card this season.
