Wolves vs Crystal Palace

Another dose of Friday night football this weekend, as Wolves play host to Crystal Palace and with both outfits currently lying in the top half of the table, they will each look to move further up the league ladder.

For Wolves, they will look for better fortunes after being held at home to Newcastle and for Palace they will look to build on their impressive display against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Prediction: Wolves 1-0 Crystal Palace

Sheffield United vs Manchester City

It really has been a start to forget for Sheffield United and with just a single point from the first 18 on offer, manager Chris Wilder is undergoing his toughest stint as a Premier League manager at Bramall Lane.

Then again, Saturday's opponents Manchester City have not had the best of starts either and after dropping further points at West Ham last weekend, the Etihad outfit are already playing catch up on their nearest rivals.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Manchester City

Burnley vs Chelsea

Another team that has had a start to forget is Burnley and although they gave a good account of themselves at home to Tottenham on Monday, they failed to convert their attacking endeavour into goals at Turf Moor.

They will hope fortune favours them this weekend, as they play host to Chelsea and after a goalless draw at Old Trafford, Frank Lampard will be looking for all three points this time around.

Prediction: Burnley 0-1 Chelsea

Liverpool vs West Ham

Liverpool may have passed their first skirmish without Virgil Van Dijk, but there are still so many more to go and with the Premier League already being as wide open as it is, they are not necessarily as fearsome as they once were.

They play host to a West Ham side who are unbeaten in their last four outings and if they can show the same level of recent performance, who knows what they can get from their trip to Anfield.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 West Ham

Aston Villa vs Southampton

The perfect start has finally come to an end for Aston Villa and after suffering a heavy defeat to Leeds in their last outing, manager Dean Smith will hope their next round of exploits in the West Midlands are more fortuitous.

They play host to a buoyant Southampton side, who are flying after their shaky start to the season and a win at Villa Park, will only see them move further up the Premier League table.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Southampton

Newcastle vs Everton

It has certainly been a mixed bag in terms of Newcastle's form and because of that, you never really know what you are going to get from week to week. However, with the visit of table topping Everton this weekend, all signs point to only one thing.

The Toffees may have come unstuck last Sunday away at Southampton, but you get the feeling that Carlo Ancelotti will not allow back to back poor performances and an away win looks on the cards.

Prediction: Newcastle 0-2 Everton

Manchester United vs Arsenal

The fixture computer has not necessarily been kind to Manchester United these past couple of weeks and after the visit of Chelsea last Saturday, they are paired with another big name London outfit this coming Sunday.

This time around it is Arsenal who make the trip to Old Trafford and after suffering defeat to Leicester last time out, Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly be looking for a response from his players.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Arsenal

Tottenham vs Brighton

Although Tottenham may not have been at their recent swashbuckling best on Monday night, they still managed to leave Turf Moor with all three points and by beating Burnley, they have quickly put their West Ham aberration behind them.

They will now look to move further up the table, as struggling Brighton make the trip to North London and manager Graham Potter knows that his players quickly need to turn their effort into points, if they are not to be left behind.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Brighton

Fulham vs West Brom

With Fulham picking up just one point from the first 18 on offer, it has certainly been a difficult start to the campaign and with them now sitting at the foot of the table, there is an almost an air of early resignation from Scott Parker and his players.

However, if ever there was a night to ease the gloom it will be next Monday and with fellow strugglers West Brom coming to town, this has all the hallmarks of an early relegation “six-pointer”.

Prediction: Fulham 2-1 West Brom

Leeds vs Leicester

It is fair to say that Marcelo Bielsa's men are quickly becoming the neutrals choice and after taking to the Premier League like a duck to water, they will now look to solidify their top six standing with a win over Leicester.

While if they can get the better of the Foxes, they would also overtake Brendan Rodgers' men and after beating Arsenal last time out, the Ulsterman will hope for more away day joy on Monday.

Prediction: Leeds 2-2 Leicester
