SOUTHAMPTON VS MANCHESTER UNITED

Southampton picked up their first win of the season last Saturday, as they got the better of South Coast rivals Brighton and now that they are off the mark, it will give them the perfect platform in which to add their burgeoning Premier League points tally.

They play host to a Manchester United side who will have a point to prove after losing at home to Crystal Palace last weekend, although they could probably do without having to take a penalty on Saturday.

Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Manchester United

WEST HAM VS NORWICH

The opening day thrashing at the hands of Manchester City now looks firmly behind West Ham and since that afternoon, they have picked up four points from the six that have been on offer and after beating Watford last Saturday, they will be confident of making it back to back league wins this weekend.

They go up against a Norwich side who were edged out in a five-goal thriller with Chelsea last Saturday and the focus will undoubtedly be on whether Teemu Pukki will find the net for their fourth straight game.

Prediction: West Ham 1-1 Norwich

LEICESTER VS BOURNEMOUTH

Leicester are unbeaten in their first three league games and the last time that happened, they went on to win the Premier League title. Now admittedly we may be getting ahead of ourselves, but this unbeaten start is one that Brendan Rodgers will no doubt want to continue this Saturday.

They play host to a Bournemouth side who although they gave a good account of themselves last Sunday at the Vitality Stadium, they were no match for a dominant Manchester City outfit.

Prediction: Leicester 2-0 Bournemouth

MANCHESTER CITY VS BRIGHTON

Whoever was unfortunate enough to face Manchester City after the VAR drama we saw the weekend before last, was always going to be in for a hiding and that is exactly what Bournemouth were handed on Sunday.

Next up for City, is the visit of a Brighton side who suffered their first defeat under Graham Potter last Saturday and although they will look to bounce back, it's not something that will happen at the Etihad.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Brighton

NEWCASTLE VS WATFORD

Newcastle's game plan against Tottenham might not have been all that pretty to watch but at the same time, you cannot argue that it was one that they executed perfectly. and they will look to do the same against an already struggling Watford.

The Hornets are still looking for the aspirin to soothe their post F.A. Cup Final hangover and the longer these headaches continue, the more stress is applied on the shoulders of Javi Gracia.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 Watford

CHELSEA VS SHEFFIELD UNITED

Now that Frank Lampard's Chelsea have picked up their first win of the season, it will certainly ease the mood around Stamford Bridge and after getting the better of a promoted team last week, they will look to do the same this Saturday.

Next up it is the visit of a Sheffield United side who suffered their first defeat of the season and if they struggled at home to Leicester, the Blades will be likely to be blunt in West London.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Sheffield United

CRYSTAL PALACE VS ASTON VILLA

There's no doubting that the biggest shock of last weekend was Crystal Palace getting the better of Manchester United at Old Trafford and now manager Roy Hodgson will have to make sure that the result has not gone to his players heads.

They will look to follow that win up against an Aston Villa side who picked up their first win of the season last Friday, when they got the better of previously unbeaten Everton.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 2-1 Aston Villa

BURNLEY VS LIVERPOOL

Burnley were seconds away from an impressive win over Wolves last Sunday, only for a Raul Jimenez penalty to turn three points into one and although the Clarets will have been disappointed, they will now have to turn their attention to a swashbuckling Liverpool.

Saturday evening sees the two teams square off at Turf Moor and if Jurgen Klopp's men are anything like they were last week, then the hosts could be in for some trouble.

Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Liverpool

EVERTON VS WOLVES

Before last weekend, Everton were the only Premier League team to have kept a clean sheet this season and after defeat to Aston Villa last Friday night, Marco Silva's men can no longer lay claim to that mantle.

Sunday sees them play host to a Wolves side who have drawn each of their first three league outings and you do wonder if their European exploits are already becoming something of a detriment to them.

Prediction: Everton 1-0 Wolves

ARSENAL VS TOTTENHAM

If Arsenal and namely Nicolas Pepe had more composure in front of goal last weekend, then their trip to Anfield could have been a much different story and not the usual horror show that comes with an away day on Merseyside.

They will have to put that defeat to bed, as this week's attention will solely be on getting the better of Tottenham and if Spurs play like they did last Sunday, then this won't be a particularly hard task.
