Crystal Palace vs Chelsea

That's because, they play host to a Norwich side who have almost resigned to the fate of relegation and this means Watford could pounce and pick up an incredibly important three points.

Arsenal vs Leicester

Have Arsenal left it too late in the race for a European place? On the evidence of the past few matches, you would have to say perhaps not, and Mikel Arteta knows that a win in midweek, will only help the Gunners continental cause even further.

Standing in their way, are a Leicester side who finally returned to winning ways on Saturday and after making light work of Crystal Palace, a trip to North London will prove a sterner test.

Manchester City vs Newcastle United

Pep Guardiola rung the changes on Sunday night, and you would have to say it was a decision that backfired, as the now former Premier League champions fell to a 1-0 defeat away at Southampton. A defeat that in the grand scheme of things does little to alter City's season.

In midweek, they play host to a Newcastle side who have defied the critics and now the pursuit for the Magpies will be a top half finish, one that hopefully keeps Steve Bruce in a job for a lot longer.

Sheffield United vs Wolves

It's getting mightily congested in mid-table and after earning four points from the last six on offer, Sheffield United have just given their fading Europa League hopes a boost � a boost they'll need as Wolves make the visit to Bramall Lane this Wednesday.

Nuno Espirito Santo's men saw their impressive unbeaten run come to an end on Saturday and defeat to Arsenal has just seen their bid for a Champions League place now derail.

West Ham vs Burnley

It's been quite the week for David Moyes's men and after picking up four points from their last six on offer, the Hammers have taken a massive stride towards survival. Now though, the challenge is to take a giant leap away from the bottom three.

To do so, they will also need to get the better of a Burnley side who have also picked up four points from six and Sean Dyche's men will now look for as strong an end to the season as possible.

Brighton vs Liverpool

While although not mathematically safe, Brighton know that it is very much job done and after Leandro Trossard's winner over Norwich on Saturday, the Seagulls find themselves with a nine-point buffer between themselves and the relegation zone.

A buffer they'll need when you look at Wednesday's opposition and although champions Liverpool weren't magic at the weekend, they still had enough in the tank to get the better of Aston Villa.

Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Things really are turning sour for Bournemouth and with no win in their last eight league outings, the usual cheeky grin of manager Eddie Howe, has turned into a frown and the look of a man, who is quickly running out of ideas.

Thankfully Dr. Tottenham will be there to save the day and if you ever need a point or three, the North Londoners are more than happy to offer their expertise and cure your ailments.

Everton vs Southampton

There's no doubt that the capture of Carlo Ancelotti as manager was nothing short of a masterstroke and although Everton have perhaps left it too late to challenge for Europe, the blue half of Merseyside look in incredibly good stead for next season.

Thursday sees them play host to a Southampton side who are a fresh off a win over Manchester City and the Saints will look to offer another spirited performance in the next few days.

Aston Villa vs Manchester United

Dean Smith's men certainly looked better against Liverpool, but it was the same old story in the end and one that sees Villa's defensive deficiencies ultimately becoming their undoing � a defence that is conceding 1.87 goals per Premier League game this season.

Which means Manchester United will be licking their lips at the prospect of a Villa Park trip on Thursday and especially, as they travel off the back of a nine-league game unbeaten streak.
