Norwich vs Brighton

This weekend's action gets underway at Carrow Road and with Norwich currently seven points from safety, Daniel Farke's men are quickly running out of opportunities in which to save themselves from the ignominy of relegation.

They go up against a Brighton side, who themselves are arguably one win from securing another stint in the Premier League and Saturday may just offer the perfect opportunity to earn it.

Prediction: Norwich 1-2 Brighton

Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Manchester United seem to be finding their groove at just the right time and with the Red Devils now unbeaten in their last eight league matches, they possess the joint longest positive streak in the division at present.

They welcome a Bournemouth side to Old Trafford this Saturday, who are amid a terrible run of results and manager Eddie Howe is looking increasingly short of new ideas, in a bid to save his team from relegation.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Bournemouth

Leicester vs Crystal Palace

If Manchester United have benefitted from the hiatus, Leicester certainly have not and after picking up just a single point from the last nine on offer, the Foxes are suddenly looking over their shoulders in the race for a top four place a race, that really is beginning to heat up.

This Saturday sees Leicester play host to Crystal Palace and with the Eagles having little to play for, the visit of Roy Hodgson's men could prove to be the perfect tonic for the ailing Foxes.

Prediction: Leicester 1-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves vs Arsenal

Like Manchester United, Wolves also possess an unbeaten streak of eight league games and this subsequent upturn in form has meant Nuno Espirito's men are firmly in the race for the European places, with a top four finish looking a real possibility.

They will look to get the better of an Arsenal side who have won their last two matches in the league, although the visit to Molineux will prove to be a much sterner test for Mikel Arteta's boys.

Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Arsenal

Chelsea vs Watford

Chelsea were presented with the perfect opportunity to move above Leicester in midweek, an opportunity that they failed to take up and after suffering defeat to West Ham, Frank Lampard's men will look to bounce back straight away.

They play host to a Watford side, who now find themselves being leapfrogged by West Ham and suddenly, the dreaded relegation zone is a lot closer in their rear-view mirror.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Watford

Burnley vs Sheffield United

Burnley have once again managed to defy the critics and with the Clarets once again in the top half of the table, there is a sense of job done at Turf Moor. With that said, it is so tight in the middle bracket, it could be anywhere between a 7th or 14th place finish at the end of the season.

If they are to finish at the top of the scale, a win over Sheffield United would certainly help. With that said, the Blades will be revitalised by an emphatic victory over Tottenham on Thursday evening.

Prediction: Burnley 0-0 Sheffield United

Newcastle vs West Ham

With 42 points already in the bag, Newcastle are currently looking upwardly mobile and like Burnley it really is anyone's guess as to where the Magpies will finish at the end of the season. While their own hopes of a top-half finish will be boosted with a win against West Ham on Sunday.

Then again, the Hammers will make the long trip north in buoyant mood and after getting the better of Chelsea on Wednesday, the East Londoners will look to take another massive stride towards survival.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-1 West Ham

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Liverpool may have undergone a lesser spotted thumping on Thursday night and even though defeat to nearest rivals Manchester City would have been rather humbling, it means little in the grand scheme of this season's Premier League. (actually, it means nothing at all)

This Sunday, they will look to extend their incredible home league unbeaten run to 57 matches and providing the perfect opposition for them to do so, is an Aston Villa side that is really struggling to avoid the drop.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Aston Villa

Southampton vs Manchester City

Southampton will be one of the better rested clubs going into this gameweek and with seven days off, they will look to add to their impressive 3-1 win over Watford. Then again, Manchester City do provide the weekend opposition.

Pep Guardiola's men certainly took umbrage to giving Liverpool a guard of honour and after dishing out a 4-0 win at the Etihad, they will look to keep their recent momentum going on the South Coast.

Prediction: Southampton 1-2 Manchester City

Tottenham vs Everton

What positive things can you say about Tottenham after Thursday's meek showing against Sheffield United? To be honest, there are none and with now even the Europa League prize looking a distant dream, the North London outfit are in danger of playing out six end of season dead rubbers.

They play host to an Everton side, who themselves are in the dead rubber bracket themselves and although they may perhaps harbour hopes of Europe next season, those hopes will more than likely be unfounded.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Everton
