Everton vs Crystal Palace

Everton picked up a dramatic win over Watford last weekend and this time around new manager Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the task of earning maximum points, is one that turns out to be more routine.

They play host to a Crystal Palace side that have not won any of their last six league outings and should that run extend further, there might be cause for concern for Roy Hodgson and his players.

Brighton vs Watford

Credit must go to Brighton last weekend, as they came back from 3-1 down to earn a welcome away point at West Ham and with the club buoyant from such a fighting performance, they will now look to come out on top in another relegation ‘six-pointer'

They play host to Watford, who as mentioned above threw away a two-goal lead at home to Everton and manager Nigel Pearson will need to make sure that does not happen again anytime soon or they will be sunk further into a relegation battle.

Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Watford

Sheffield United vs Bournemouth

Sheffield United may only average just over a goal scored a game, but more importantly they have concerned less than a goal during the same period this season and it is that incredible pair of statistics, that sees them start this weekend lying sixth in the table.

They play host to a Bournemouth side who have won their last two league outings and although that will be a confidence boost, it is perhaps too early to say that they have turned the corner under Eddie Howe.

Manchester City vs West Ham

Manchester City were dealt defeat last Sunday to Tottenham and when Pep's men lose it means bad news for their next opposition, as they usually like to ease their frustration by going onto score an obscene amount of goals.

That's not good news for West Ham, as they are the next side to enter the Etihad and after being frustrated at home to Brighton last weekend, David Moyes' men could be in for a long afternoon.

Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 West Ham

Wolves vs Leicester

Although Wolves currently lie eighth in the table, they are still very much in the hunt for a Europa League place and the additional week's rest that they will receive, might just be something that helps them kick on and go onto earn a top six finish at the end of the season.

Next up for them is the visit of Leicester and with the Foxes in third place and possessing a 12-point buffer between them and Tottenham in fifth, a Champions League return looks highly likely for Brendan Rodgers' men.

Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Leicester

Southampton vs Burnley

With this split gameweek, Southampton will have plenty of time to lick their wounds after being the latest team to be comfortably beaten by Liverpool and although they start this weekend lying thirteenth, they are looking up the table rather than over their shoulder.

Next up, they play host to Burnley and after earning seven points from the last nine on offer, Sean Dyche's men will be confident of extending their unbeaten league run to four matches.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Burnley

Norwich vs Liverpool

Norwich find themselves seven points from safety and with time running out to claw that deficit back, you do wonder if the next few matches are going to be encounters that go onto seal the fate of Daniel Farke and his players.

Especially, as next up for them is the visit of Liverpool and with them looking to make it an incredible 43 Premier League games unbeaten, this could be a masterclass in dominant attacking football.

Prediction: Norwich 0-3 Liverpool

Aston Villa vs Tottenham

Aston Villa are just about keeping their heads above water in terms of the relegation battle and after suffering defeat to Bournemouth in their last outing, manager Dean Smith knows that the visit of Tottenham is going to be a difficult one.

Even more so, when you consider that a win for the North London outfit will close the gap to Chelsea to a single point, even if their crosstown rivals do play just an evening later. This one will be all to play for in the race for fourth.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham

Arsenal vs Newcastle

What else can you say about Arsenal now but average. Mid-table and middle of the road seems to be the order of the day for Mikel Arteta's and with thirteen draws already this season, you get an idea of how their next Premier League encounter will pan out.

Especially as Newcastle will not be arriving in North London looking to play open expansive football and therefore don't be surprised if this ends up being the Gunners fourteenth draw of the campaign.

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Chelsea's stuttering form as of late has left the top four door wide open and if Tottenham win 24 hours before and Frank Lampard's men fail to match such efforts, then Spurs will have kicked things wide open.

They will be hoping that Manchester United can do them a favour but at the same time, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to want to win for himself, especially as they are not out of this top four race themselves.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United
