Wolves vs Leeds

The latest episode of the Premier League soap opera gets underway on Friday night, as Wolves play host to Leeds and with Nuno Espirito Santo's men getting the better of Southampton last weekend, they will look for further success at Molineux.

To do so, they will need to thwart a Leeds side who knows where the goal is. However, they also know how to concede them with regularity and as always, who knows what you will get from the Yorkshire outfit.

Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Leeds

Southampton vs Chelsea

After suffering defeat to Wolves last Sunday, it is now six straight league losses for Southampton and although there is no genuine danger of relegation for the Saints, this slide down the table will be of massive concern to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

While there is every chance the streak could be extended to seven on Saturday, as they play host to a resurgent Chelsea and it is fair to say, that the recent appointment of Thomas Tuchel was a masterstroke.

Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Chelsea

Burnley vs West Brom

Burnley picked up an important point in midweek and one that just extends their buffer between themselves and the bottom three. While it is a buffer, that they will further look to pad out this weekend.

That's because they play host to a relegation threatened West Brom and although they held Manchester United at home last weekend, the Baggies desperately need a win or two on the board.

Prediction: Burnley 1-1 West Brom

Liverpool vs Everton

Not many people would have had Liverpool down in sixth position at this point of the season and although Merseyside Derby's are important, there is arguably even more riding on this latest edition of the saga.

Because both they and Everton are gunning for a top four finish and with the Toffees losing their last two Premier League outings, Carlo Ancelotti's men can ill-afford to see that run extend to three.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Everton

Fulham vs Sheffield United

Whether Fulham will look at the midweek draw against Burnley as two points dropped can be argued, although if they can get the better of basement side Sheffield United and they will be favourites to do so, it will give their survival hopes an almighty boost.

The Blades make the trip to the capital having lost to West Ham last time out and if they lose this weekend, then any shoots of recovery might just be chopped off once and for all.

Prediction: Fulham 2-0 Sheffield United

West Ham vs Tottenham

Can West Ham honestly qualify for Europe next season? That is the question everyone is asking at present and with this weekend heralding the start of an incredibly tough run of fixtures, we will soon gain the answer to this developing conundrum.

While the same question may well be asked of Tottenham and with form going against them, failure to beat the Hammers on Sunday, will put another serious dent in their own continental hopes.

Aston Villa vs Leicester

A frustrating evening on the South Coast last weekend, as Aston Villa had to make do with a draw against Brighton and after dropping two points, Dean Smith's men now find themselves on the outside of the Europa League conversation.

While thrusting themselves deeper into the top four mix are Leicester and after humbling Liverpool last Saturday, Brendan Rodgers and his players will look to avoid a repeat of last season's late collapse.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 Leicester

Arsenal vs Manchester City

Has Mikel Arteta finally unlocked the attacking combination that Arsenal have been searching for or was their youthful midfield trio a one off to deal with Leeds? Come Sunday, we will find out just how bold the Gunners boss truly is, as he prepares for the visit of Manchester City.

While this is a City side that have won all of their last 12 league outings and after such a monstrous run, you get the feeling that the Sky Blue ribbons are already being prepared for this season's Premier League trophy.

Prediction: Arsenal 0-3 Manchester City

Manchester United vs Newcastle

There's no doubt that Manchester United have gone off the boil and in doing so, have all but thrown away any chance of winning this season's edition of the Premier League. While due to a downturn in form, they now must make sure that they stay in the top four.

This Sunday sees them play host to Newcastle and with talisman Callum Wilson out for the best part of two months, relegation fears are now starting to creep back in amongst their weary supporters.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Newcastle

Brighton vs Crystal Palace

Bar Manchester City riding off into the distance, it is Brighton who are the form team in the division and with no losses in their last six league outings, Graham Potter's men have managed to put some crucial distance between themselves and the bottom three.

This Monday sees them play host to M23 rivals Crystal Palace and if the Eagles play as bad as they did last weekend, the long-term future of Roy Hodgson may come into question once again.

Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Crystal Palace

Leeds vs Southampton

After losing to Wolves last Friday night, it is now three defeats in the last four for Leeds and with their usual swashbuckling football confusing pundits and punters alike, they now prepare for the visit of Southampton on Tuesday.

The Saints put an end to their terrible run of form at the weekend, as they draw at home to Chelsea and manager Ralph Hasenhuttl will hope, this can be used a a platform for bigger and better things.
