Crystal Palace vs Southampton

Saturday afternoon saw another profitable trip to the Etihad for Crystal Palace and after being more than good value for a point, Roy Hodgson will be hoping that his players can offer even more on Tuesday night.

They play host to a Southampton side who saw their impressive run of results ended by Wolves and after going 2-0 up in that game, defeat would have been a bitter pill for the Saints to swallow.

Aston Villa vs Watford

After shipping six to Manchester City, Aston Villa restored some level of confidence with a point away at Brighton on Saturday. While it was a decent point on the road, Dean Smith's men enter this midweek set of fixtures lying third bottom in the Premier League table.

Which means that the visit of Watford is another of those famous relegation ‘six pointers' and with the Hornets unbeaten in their last half dozen league outings, they will be confident of picking up another positive result.

Bournemouth vs Brighton

After Saturday's defeat to Norwich, things seem to be going from bad to worse for Bournemouth and not only are they now firmly rooted in the Premier League relegation zone, but they also must do without Steve Cook for the visit of Brighton.

Just one point from their last eighteen on offer, means that this is a must win game for Bournemouth but Brighton will have other ideas and they themselves will be confident of picking up maximum points at the Vitality.

Prediction: Bournemouth 0-2 Brighton  

Everton vs Newcastle

A mid-table clash is on the menu at Goodison Park and to be honest neither Everton nor Newcastle will be too concerned at their current status, especially if it means that neither must deal with a relegation battle at the end of the season.

Everton were held to a draw away at West Ham on Saturday, while later that same day Steve Bruce worked another miracle, after getting the better of Chelsea and he will hope for another impressive showing on Tuesday.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Newcastle

Sheffield United vs Manchester City

Any talk of Sheffield United just settling for survival at the end of the season can certainly be dismissed, as after another impressive performance in the capital, Chris Wilder's men will have more than one eye on the Europa League places.

Midweek sees them play host to a Manchester City side, who have all but declared that just a top four finish is the priority, while also saving all their energy for a potential Champions League tilt.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-2 Manchester City

Chelsea vs Arsenal

Chelsea seem to be stuttering into fourth place but although their own results have been far from perfect, neither have their rivals and if no-one wants to get a run of positive results together, the Blues will be more than happy to occupy that final Champions League berth.

They play host to Arsenal on Tuesday and after beating the Gunners just a couple of weeks ago, a win at Stamford Bridge will be the perfect way to bounce back from an indifferent weekend showing.

Tottenham vs Norwich

It's now no win in four league games for Tottenham and with Harry Kane out for all but out for the rest of the season, you do wonder if the North London outfit are going to be jolted into the transfer market before the end of the month.

They play host to a Norwich side who picked up a huge win at the weekend and after already sharing the points with Spurs once already this season, they will hope that lightning strikes twice on Wednesday.

Leicester vs West Ham

Leicester still find themselves comfortably in the top four, but it does seem as if Brendan Rodgers' men are going through a difficult period, with four defeats from their last six Premier League matches � including Sunday's loss to Burnley

This Wednesday they play host to a West Ham side that are currently just keeping their heads above the choppy waters of relegation and a point at home to Everton on Saturday would have been most welcomed.

Prediction: Leicester 2-0 West Ham

Manchester United vs Burnley

Manchester United suffered the ignominy of defeat on Sunday to Liverpool and they were also dealt a further blow with the news that Marcus Rashford will be out for a prolonged spell, as the England international has a double stress fracture in his back.

Wednesday sees the Red Devils play host to a Burnley side, who picked up a hugely important win over Leicester on Sunday and it is one that sees the Clarets keep themselves clear of the relegation zone.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-0 Burnley

Wolves vs Liverpool

After finding themselves 2-0 down against Southampton on Saturday, Nuno Espirito Santo was probably thinking that the rut that Wolves were in was set to continue. Fast forward an hour or so and the Midlands outfit had picked up a first league win in four attempts.

Next up for Wolves is a Liverpool side, who have now all but won the Premier League and should they avoid defeat at Molineux, it will be 40 games unbeaten for Jurgen Klopp's red machine.
