Aston Villa vs Arsenal

The weekend's Premier League action gets underway in the West Midlands, as Aston Villa play host to Arsenal and with Dean Smith's men suffering defeat to West Ham in midweek, they will now look to return to winning ways.

Which is the same remit for the Gunners, and they will have to make the trip to Birmingham without the services of either Bernd Leno or David Luiz, as the pair are both out through suspension.

Prediction: Aston Villa 2-1 Arsenal

Burnley vs Brighton

The fixture computer has not been kind to Burnley as of late, as the Clarets have had to face both Chelsea and Manchester City in their last two league outings and somewhat unsurprisingly, they have lost 2-0 on both occasions.

On paper things will look easier on Saturday, as they play host to Brighton and although the Seagulls are only 15th in the table, they make the trip here having just beaten Liverpool in midweek.

Prediction: Burnley 1-0 Brighton

Newcastle vs Southampton

After an impressive performance against Everton last weekend, there was a sense that Newcastle then reverted to type against Crystal Palace and after taking an early lead against the Eagles, it was the visitors that eventually came out on top.

However, Steve Bruce will look to take advantage of a shellshocked Southampton on Saturday, as the Ralph Hasenhuttl's men conceded nine unanswered goals for the second time in just over a year in midweek.

Prediction: Newcastle 1-0 Southampton

Fulham vs West Ham

With Brighton picking up a flurry of points recently, it seems the big losers in all of this are Fulham and although they have picked up plenty of draws as of late, the pace of improvement is not substantial enough to move them out of the relegation zone.

While when we look at the pace of improvement, it is rapid by comparison for West Ham and with Jesse Lingard already opening his Hammers account in midweek, he seems a rather shrewd signing by manager David Moyes.

Prediction: Fulham 0-2 West Ham

Manchester United vs Everton

After a poor pair of performances last week, it seems as if Manchester United let out all their frustration on Southampton and after hitting them for nine, the Red Devils have at least solidified their current second place standing in the table.

This weekend sees them play host to Everton and with the Toffees getting the better of Leeds in midweek, it is a win that sees Carlo Ancelotti's men on the fringes of the race for Europe.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Everton

Tottenham vs West Brom

Even with the injury to Harry Kane, you would think that Tottenham have enough quality to at least offer something in the way of performance. Then again, if you look at Spurs' last two offerings, you will know that this is from the case.

This Sunday sees them play host to West Brom and if Jose Mourinho cannot get his troops up for this one, then talk of the Portuguese manager's departure from North London will only become louder.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-0 West Brom

Wolves vs Leicester

Wolves' terrible run of form has finally come to an end and after getting the better of Arsenal in midweek, Nuno Espirito Santo's men will now look to come out on top as Leicester make the short visit to Molineux.

The Foxes returned to winning ways in midweek, as they made light work of Fulham and manager Brendan Rodgers will be aiming for all three points here, in order to enhance their hopes of the top four.

Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Leicester

Liverpool vs Manchester City

While although this is still a titanic clash, an element of needle has perhaps been lost and that is due to Liverpool's defeat to Brighton on Wednesday night, with the result now swinging the Premier League pendulum further in Manchester City's favour.

City have been incredulous as of late and although they do not need to necessarily win at Anfield, you get the feeling that Pep Guardiola and his men will be going for the jugular on Sunday.

Prediction: Liverpool 0-2 Manchester City

Sheffield United vs Chelsea

Have they left it too late? That is the question that everyone is asking about Sheffield United and although they got the better of fellow strugglers West Brom in midweek, they are still a staggering 11 points from safety.

Now it is seemingly win or bust in each game that the Blades play and next up is the visit of Chelsea and under new manager Thomas Tuchel, they have picked up seven points from the last nine.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Chelsea

Leeds vs Crystal Palace

What is staggering about Leeds this season, is the fact that they've drawn only two of their first 21 league games of the campaign and with such unpredictability, you never know if they are going to blow hot or cold from week to week.

While Monday's opponents Crystal Palace will certainly hope it's the latter and after picking up successive league wins last week, manager Roy Hodgson will be aiming to extend that run to three in a row.
