Everton vs Newcastle

After holding Leicester to a draw in midweek, Everton will hope for better fortunes this weekend and as they go up against the team with the current joint worst form in the division, that should certainly be achievable.

They go up against a Newcastle outfit, who have failed to win any of their last nine league outings and with that run, questions regarding Steve Bruce's departure as manager are now being asked.

Prediction: Everton 2-0 Newcastle

Manchester City vs Sheffield United

While although a Manchester based outfit may be top of the table, the personnel has changed and with the blue half now running the Premier League show, you get the feeling that Pep Guardiola's men are now going to work their way up through the gears.

This Saturday, they play host to a Sheffield United side that stunned us all in midweek and after getting the better of United on Wednesday, Chris Wilder's men will now look to also topple City in a Manchester double.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Sheffield United

West Brom vs Fulham

For all the attributes that Sam Allardyce has as a rather defensive manager, he is witnessing his West Brom defence get torn apart with a worrying amount of regularity and it is this, that is already edging them closer to the EFL Championship next season.

This weekend sees them take part in another relegation ‘six-pointer' and with Fulham competing in another one of these in midweek, they will look to build on their bore draw away at Brighton.

Prediction: West Brom 1-1 Fulham

Crystal Palace vs Wolves

There's not been a great deal to write home about for Crystal Palace as of late, as they've picked up just one point from the last nine on offer and perhaps more importantly, have won just one of their last six Premier League outings.

Then again, they could be Wolves right now and the West Midlands outfit failing to win any of their last seven, Nuno Espirito Santo and his players find themselves in somewhat unfamiliar territory.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-1 Wolves

Arsenal vs Manchester United

The Arsenal resurgence is in full swing, as the Gunners are unbeaten in their last six Premier League outings and from that run of results, they have earned an incredible 16 points from the 18 that were on offer.

While they look to continue that run this weekend, as they play host to a Manchester United outfit who slipped up in a big way on Wednesday and they now find themselves off the league summit.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-2 Manchester United

Southampton vs Aston Villa

A midtable clash is on the horizon this weekend, although it is fair to say that both outfits have the desire for something more and a win for either club on Saturday, will see them edge back into the conversation regarding European football next season.

For Southampton, they will look to bounce back after defeat to Arsenal in midweek, while opponents Aston Villa will still be asking themselves just how they lost to Burnley at Turf Moor.

Prediction: Southampton 2-1 Aston Villa

Chelsea vs Burnley

The Thomas Tuchel era has well and truly begun and although his new Chelsea side had plenty of possession on Wednesday night, they ultimately failed to get the better of Wolves at Stamford Bridge.

Which means the former PSG boss will be looking for a first league win, as Burnley come to town and if there is any club that likes to spoil the party, then you need look no further than the Clarets.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 Burnley

Leicester vs Leeds

With no Jamie Vardy to call upon, there was always going to be a concern over how Leicester would perform and after dropping two points at Goodison Park on Wednesday, it seems as if Brendan Rodgers' worst fears had come true.

This Sunday sees them go up against a Leeds side, who returned to winning ways in midweek and because you never know what you'll get from Marcelo Bielsa's men, this should be entertaining if nothing else.

Prediction: Leicester 2-0 Leeds

West Ham vs Liverpool

West Ham for Europe anyone? On the form that they are on right now, you certainly would not put it past them and with David Moyes' men winning their last four league outings, they are certainly one of the form teams in the division at present.

While on the subject of form, it seems as if Liverpool may have found theirs again after blustering past Tottenham on Thursday and now Jurgen Klopp will hope his players kick on from there in their pursuit of the title.

Prediction: West Ham 1-3 Liverpool

Brighton vs Tottenham

Graham Potter's men are just keeping their heads above the dotted relegation line and although their stalemate with Fulham in midweek was a rather tough watch, another point to their tally would have been welcomed all the same.

This weekend sees them go up against a Tottenham side, who were masters of their own downfall on Thursday and with Harry Kane now injured, it could be the start of a rather tough few weeks for the North London outfit.

Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Tottenham
