Newcastle vs Manchester City

Newcastle's three game unbeaten run came to an end on Monday night at the hands of Aston Villa and manager Steve Bruce will be hoping that the Magpies can return to winning ways, unfortunately though there is the small matter of playing host to Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola's men are now up to third in the table after getting the better of Chelsea last Saturday and even though they lost here last season, you can't see anything else than a City win on Tyneside.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth

Jose Mourinho's time as a Tottenham manager got off to the perfect start last weekend, as he oversaw his new charges earn not only a 3-2 win against West Ham, but a first away league win in ten months.

This weekend, sees Mourinho oversee a first league game at Tottenham's new stadium and although the challenge of Bournemouth won't be easy, you would imagine this being a routine home win.

Prediction: Tottenham 3-0 Bournemouth

Burnley vs Crystal Palace

After an indifferent run of form which saw Burnley record three straight losses, they have now won back to back league outings and subsequently Sean Dyche's men start this weekend lying an impressive seventh in the table.

This Saturday sees them play host to a Crystal Palace side who will be glad to get out of London, as that is where their last ten league matches (home and away) have taken place.

Prediction: Burnley 2-1 Crystal Palace

Chelsea vs West Ham

Frank Lampard's Chelsea were impressive in defeat last Saturday and although they gave Manchester City a stern test, the overriding thing to take from the game is the fact that they came away from the Etihad empty handed.

This Saturday sees them play host to a West Ham side who have not won any of their last seven league matches and the pressure is really starting to mount on manager Manuel Pellegrini.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-0 West Ham

Liverpool vs Brighton

It may not have been pretty for Liverpool last weekend, but they still managed to earn another three points and it was a win over Crystal Palace, that goes on to only further assert the dominance of Jurgen Klopp's men.

This weekend they play host to a Brighton side who have failed to win 34 of their last 38 Premier League away matches. Don't back on Graham Potter's men improving that run at Anfield.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Southampton vs Watford

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl is another manager who is currently in the firing line at present and after a 2-2 draw away at Arsenal last Saturday, the Austrian will be asking himself how his players did not come away with win.

Still there is little time to dwell on that, as a bottom of the table clash is on the horizon this Saturday and with Watford once again at the foot of the ladder, this really is a must win tie for both outfits.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Watford

Wolves vs Sheffield United

Let's be honest, no-one expected Wolves and Sheffield United to be occupying fifth and sixth place in the table at the start of this week. However, their current respective standings are testament to how impressive they have been thus far.

With Molineux playing host to this encounter, both teams will be looking for a win to further solidify their top six position and this will certainly be an interesting clash for the neutral.

Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Sheffield United

Norwich vs Arsenal

Norwich finally have something to celebrate, as a 2-0 win over Everton last Saturday was a first league success in eight attempts. A win that takes the Canaries off of the bottom of the table going into this weekend's set of fixtures.

This Sunday sees them play host to an Arsenal side who have not won any of their last five league outings and you do worry for Unai Emery, especially if that run extends to six at Carrow Road.

Prediction: Norwich 1-0 Arsenal

Manchester United vs Aston Villa

Last Sunday was arguably the best and worst of Manchester United. The best was scoring three quickfire at Bramall Lane, the worst was conceding two to Sheffield United beforehand and ultimately only coming away from Yorkshire with a draw.

This Sunday sees them play host to an Aston Villa side who get the better of Newcastle on Monday night and if Dean Smith's men can keep it tight at the back, they might have a chance of a result.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Aston Villa.

Leicester vs Everton

Thanks to a hard-fought win over Brighton last weekend, Leicester hold on to their second place standing in the Premier League. Although with them playing on Sunday, there is every chance that could temporarily change.

However, with them playing host to a severely troubled Everton, Brendan Rodgers' men will be confident of picking up another win in front of their own fans. A result that could spell huge trouble for Marco Silva and his employment status.
