Aston Villa vs Newcastle

Match Postponed

Burnley vs Everton

After picking up a first win of the season against Crystal Palace, Burnley were bought back down to Earth at the Etihad last weekend and after shipping five goals to Manchester City, manager Sean Dyche was once again left with plenty of questions to answer.

While Everton's return to form seemed only temporary, as they were beaten by Leeds last weekend and it seems a case of one step forward and two steps back for Carlo Ancelotti at present.

Prediction: Burnley 1-3 Everton

Manchester City vs Fulham

Any questions regarding Manchester City's goalscoring prowess were answered last Saturday, as they put Burnley to the sword and although it was five of the best at the Etihad, manager Pep Guardiola must make sure that was not the exception rather than the rule.

Talking of rules, it seems as Fulham defied them on Monday, as they got the better of Leicester at the King Power and most importantly, managed to slot home an effort from the penalty spot.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Fulham

West Ham vs Manchester United

For all the talk of West Ham having a poor start to the season, they are certainly making up for lost time now and with the East London outfit now lying fifth in the table, it is starting to look like a job well done by David Moyes and his players.

However, this weekend sees them go up against a Manchester United side who have their tails up suddenly and with three straight league wins, are looking to become upwardly mobile themselves.

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Manchester United

Chelsea vs Leeds

There was an element of frustration for Chelsea on Sunday, as they failed to break down Tottenham's watertight defence and in doing so, missed out on a chance to move to the top of the Premier League table.

This weekend sees them play host Leeds and after getting the better of Everton at Goodison Park last Saturday, manager Marcelo Bielsa will expect to see another away win on the menu.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Leeds

West Brom vs Crystal Palace

Undoubted relief for Slaven Bilic last Saturday, as he oversaw a first West Brom win of the season and although that temporarily saw them move out of the bottom three, a Fulham win on Monday meant that their joy was rather short lived.

This Sunday sees them play host Crystal Palace and with the Eagles suffering back to back league defeats, it means Roy Hodgson and his men are just looking over their shoulders at present.

Prediction: West Brom 1-1 Crystal Palace

Sheffield United vs Leicester

The bad start has extended into a bad first quarter of the season and with just one point earned from the last 39 that have been on offer since the end of “Project Restart”, it seems as if time is running out for Chris Wilder.

This Sunday sees his Blades charges play host to Leicester and after slipping up at home to Fulham on Monday, manager Brendan Rodgers will be asking for vast improvement from his players.

Prediction: Sheffield United 0-2 Leicester

Tottenham vs Arsenal

Tottenham currently straddle the top of the Premier League table, although whether they will still be their by the start of the North London derby remains to be seen and of course, the primary objective is to still be there by the time the final whistle blows on Sunday.

For that to happen, they will likely need to beat an Arsenal side that has picked up just one point from the last nine on offer and right now, a lot of trust is going to have to go into “The Process”.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Arsenal

Liverpool vs Wolves

Liverpool were continuously foiled by VAR last Saturday and after coming away from The AMEX with a draw, manager Jurgen Klopp can only identify that as two points dropped, rather than a solitary point gained.

This Sunday, they play host to a Wolves side that won away at Arsenal last weekend and even with all three points, it was joy that was dampened after the sickening injury to Mexico's Raul Jimenez.

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Wolves

Brighton vs Southampton

Whether Brighton were good value for their point against Liverpool last Saturday can be argued. Then again, the fact that technology got them out of such a scrape cannot and although the Seagulls were handed a huge slice of luck, manager Graham Potter will not care all that much.

As now the focus moves to local rivals Southampton and with the Saints 2-0 up against Manchester United last Sunday, all looked well. Of course, we all know how that game finished come full time.

Prediction: Brighton 2-2 Southampton
