GUNNERS FOIL THE CHAMPIONS

While although Arsenal's main priority will be winning this season's Europa League, they have not quite taken the eyes off a strong Premier League finish and if they can continue their recent domestic form, they may just gatecrash the top six or seven party.

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last four league outings and have subsequently picked up eight points from the last 12 on offer and as they prepare for the visit of Liverpool this Saturday, it is fair to say that the North London outfit are in fine fettle right now.

While Mikel Arteta's men have also shown plenty of fighting spirit in recent times and this was evident in their pre-international break draw with West Ham, one that saw them come back from a three-goal deficit.

That spirit will need to be show against Liverpool and although the soon to be former Premier League champions are a different beast this season, they cannot be dismissed in terms of their overall capabilities.

In their last league outing, Jurgen Klopp took his team to Molineux and managed to oversee a slender 1-0 win over Wolves, a result that keeps their hopes of a top four finish at the end of the season alive.

While if Liverpool drop points at the Emirates, then it may be the point where Klopp decides to put all his eggs in the Champions League basket and aim to win the competition for the second time in three years.

On the topic of dropped points, these are the games that Mikel Arteta seems to enjoy the most and it is a case of overlooking Arsenal at your peril. They may not have enough to win, but they will certainly be a shout for a share of the points.
Summary: Back honours even at the Emirates at 3.60

A DOOZY FOR THE BLUES

With Thomas Tuchel yet to taste defeat as Chelsea manager, it is difficult to bet against the Blues in recent times and if you were betting on who will book a place in the top four at the end of the season, the Stamford Bridge outfit would certainly be one of the favourites.

While Stamford Bridge is the venue this Saturday, as Chelsea play host to West Brom and with the Baggies ailing at the foot of the table, the thought of Sam Allardyce masterminding a great escape seems highly unlikely.

The Hawthorns outfit go into their capital trip some 10 points from safety and with time running out on their bid for safety, you wonder just where West Brom will pick up the necessary wins between now and the final day.

One thing that is almost certain, is that they will not find one in West London and although backing Chelsea to win at home this weekend is not going to make you rich, it is a perfect piece of accumulator fodder.
Summary: Back Chelsea to win at 1.22

NETBUSTERS AT THE KING POWER

With Manchester City edging ever closer to the Premier League title, their next stop on the trophy trail is the King Power Stadium and with Leicester lying in wait, this is arguably the most interesting encounter of the weekend.

Leicester are one of the clubs that are also in the race for Manchester City's scraps and the remit for Brendan Rodgers' men, is one that sees them finish as high up the table as possible and subsequently secure a return to the Champions League.

Something that they failed to achieve last season after their “Project Restart” collapse and after back-to-back league wins before in the international break, now they must make sure that their momentum is halted.

Of course, with Manchester City lying in wait this is going to be slightly difficult and although Leicester is always tricky for any opposition that lies in wait, Pep Guardiola's group of superstars should have enough in their locker.

However, the main focus of this match will be where the goals come from. If Leicester cannot get the better of City, they should be able to breach their defence and that is why a Both Teams To Score bet is most appealing this weekend.
Prediction: Back BTTS at 1.87.
