Betting Tips for Premier League - Gameweek 29

CLARET STAINS THE LILLYWHITES

Burnley continue to earn the moniker of one the Premier League's form teams at present and with Sean Dyche's men going unbeaten in their last six outings, the fortunes of the Lancashire outfit have been turned around in double quick time.

That's because six weeks ago, Burnley were nervously looking over their shoulder and anticipating the prospect of being dragged into what looks like being an incredibly cut-throat battle to avoid relegation to the EFL Championship.

Such has been Burnley's turnaround that they have an outside chance of qualifying for the Europa League next season and although their appearance last season nearly cost them dearly on a domestic level, the Clarets will have every right to dream of another Euro away day.

Which is something that Tottenham fans may be left dreaming of next season, especially if their beloved players don't improve the level of performance that they've displayed over the past couple of weeks.

Back to back defeats to Chelsea and Wolves have not only diminished their hopes of a Champions League return but also put their overall chances of qualifying for Europe on what can only be described as life support.

Last season Tottenham lost here by two goals to one and you get the feeling that with their lack of attacking propensity, they will struggle to get any joy from their trip to Turf Moor and with that in mind backing Burnley at odds of 3.00 makes perfect sense.
Summary: Back Burnley for a home win this Saturday

GUNNERS FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS

If Burnley are one of the form teams in the division, then Arsenal are the form team right now and although their streak of seven matches without defeat pales into the comparisons of Liverpool, it does show that things are starting to finally click for new manager Mikel Arteta.

The former Arsenal midfielder also oversaw the Gunners get the better of Portsmouth on Monday and subsequently book themselves a place in the F.A. Cup Quarterfinals, something that will only help build this current wave of positive momentum.

This Saturday sees them go up against a West Ham side who get the better of Southampton at the London Stadium and it was a win that would have at least given their survival hopes a shot in the arm.

However, the Hammers seem to be writing a different story on the road and David Moyes will be fully aware that his side have lost their last five away outings, a run which is keeping them near the foot of the table.

Admittedly their last awayday was a very impressive showing against Liverpool, but one that still saw them come away empty handed and that level of performance will have to be the bare minimum at the Emirates.

Even though Arsenal were dumped out of the Europa League by Olympiakos, they seem to have got over that continental blip quite quickly and therefore, all signs point to another win for the North London outfit this weekend.
Summary: Back Arsenal to win at 1.53

UNDER AT BRAMALL LANE

Ten of the last eleven league matches involving Sheffield United have ended with Under 2.5 total goals and with the Blades playing host to Norwich this weekend, you would be inclined for more of the same at Bramall Lane.

Norwich may be buoyant by their win over Leicester last Friday, but one must remember that even that was only by a single goal and therefore, there is little to suggest there will be an abundance of net bulging in Yorkshire.
Summary: Back Under 2.5 at 1.80

NEWCASTLE DRAW ANOTHER BLANK

Newcastle have failed to score in any of their last four league matches and although they are not considered to be a part of the relegation battle, if this bleak set of performances continue there is every chance the Magpies will be soon fighting for the lives.

This means that they've not scored in over six hours of Premier League action and when you look at the personnel that Steve Bruce has to hand, there is little to suggest that this unwanted streak that will be broken this weekend.

The Tyneside outfit travel to Southampton on Saturday and the hosts will have a point to prove after such a meek showing against West Ham last time out. With that in mind, a Southampton shutout looks like being the top tip from this game.
Summary: Both Teams To Score NO at 2.05
