Player Pricing Discussion Daily Fantasy Football

Share post on:
Once again the #DFF hashtag has been useful in bringing players together to discuss and debate issues concerning elements of daily fantasy football gameplay. Most recently, attention has been focused on player pricing and salary caps with multiple websites taking different approaches, but all to no avail. Mondogoal currently use a dynamic pricing algorithm that gradually increases a player's price based on recent form. FanTeam offer a similar algorithm but seem to put an extreme increase/decrease on player prices depending on fixtures. This can be seen recent weeks were Sunderland defenders have cost 0.0m whilst their opposing strikers have cost upwards of 20.0m. Meanwhile, FantasyBet use the same player pricing as the official Fantasy Premier League game but without the daily price rises/falls. For those who play on a number of websites, a lot of time is wasted adjusting to the different pricing structures and trying to create a balanced team within the salary cap. We would like to use the comment section below to further discuss the on-going debate on whether a salary cap is necessary within Daily Fantasy Football? Thanks for taking your time to join the debate, the decision makers for all major Daily Fantasy Football websites within Europe have been contacted and have agreed to monitor this discussion and input where necessary. Please be respectful and appreciate each other's opinions. [poll id="6"]
