Fixtures:
FC Asanta v Atletico Madrid
(Not on MondoGoal, 3pm KO)
Benfica v Galatasaray
Manchester United v CSKA Moscow
Monchengladbach v Juventus
PSV v Wolfsburg
Real Madrid v PSG
Sevilla v Manchester City
Shakhtar v Malmo
Benfica v Galatasaray
This game has goals written all over it. In Benfica's last five league games they have scored 13 goals whilst Galatasaray have scored 11. Both teams are full of attacking potential but it's a Benfica striker who stands out to us.
Jonas (15.0m) has scored eight goals in nine league games and also grabbed a goal this weekend against Tondela before coming off in the 75th minute, presumably to rest for tonight's fixture. He's going to get a lot of service tonight from the likes of Nicolas Gaitan and Talisca but he does come at an expensive price.
Manchester United v CSKA Moscow
Manchester United fans are looking a frustrated bunch at the moment. In last weekend's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace chants of “We're Manchester United, we want to attack” rang around Selhurst Park. One thing is for sure though, United do look a solid defensive side and their keeper
David de Gea (10.0m) is an integral part of their side. He's kept three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League and during their last encounter with the Russian side he did save a penalty before the rebound was put into the back of the net. The Dutch manager will be looking to shut out his opposition tonight and the Spanish star is almost guaranteed to start in between the sticks.
Monchengladbach v Juventus
Juventus have taken a leaf out of Chelsea's book and are enjoying a slow start to their title defence. They sit 10th in the league and have Juan Cuadrado to thank for a last minute winner against city rivals Torino on the weekend. On the other hand we have Gladbach have won six league games on the bounce and are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions. The Italian side dominated the last encounter in Gameweek 3 having 55% of possession and 21 shots.
Alvaro Morata (7.0m) is expected to lead the line alongside Paulo Dybala tonight but it's the Spanish striker who looks appealing to us. Juventus have experimented with their formation a little this season with Morata playing both as a striker and a left winger, which explains his lack of goals this season. He is a very good finisher non the less and will be looking to both provide and create for himself in tonight's encounter.
PSV v Wolfsburg
This game looks a tricky one for the Germans who travel to the Dutch champions following a 2-1 win over Leverkusen, whilst PSV had an entertaining 6-3 win over Graafschap. The Dutch side are struggling in Europe and sit bottom of Group B on three points after one win and two losses. Despite travelling away it's left back
Richardo Rodriquez (8.6m) who gets our recommendation. The Wolfsburg man provides a danger down the left and has a dangerous left foot on him. He also takes free kicks and corners, increasing his chances of assists and goals. Wolfsburg are going to focus on their defensive contribution first allowing Rodriquez to possibly pick up a clean sheet.
Real Madrid v PSG
A game of heavyweights, which ultimately disappointed us last time the two sides met. It's hard to imagine this game will once again 0-0, once again its
Cristiano Ronaldo (19.8m) who is our main tip. Ronaldo has scored in two consecutive games and is a constant threat throughout the game who can produce a bit of magic out of almost nothing. Reports in Spain state that Ronaldo is unhappy with Rafa Benitez but the manager has stated how fundamental he is to his Real Madrid side. This is bound to give the forward even more confidence going into tonight's game. If you're looking for some PSG coverage then
Angel Di Maria (13.4m) is a solid choice for your side.
Sevilla v Manchester City
Manchester City can secure their place in the knock out stages of the Champions League if they win and results go their way. This shouldn't be overlooked as Group D possessed a lot of potential banana skins but Manchester City looked to have changed their fortunes in Europe. Manuel Pellegrini's side have been irresistible in attack this season and
Kevin De Bruyne (15.4m) is a massive reason why. He has three goals and four assists in the league and also scored a late winner the last time these two sides met.
Shakhtar v Malmo
The Ukrainian side have been disappointing in the Champions League this season. They sit bottom of group A and have conceded eight goals. Call us crazy but we are tipping a defender in the shape of right back
Darijo Srna (9.4m).
Malmo have only scored one goal in the Champions League this season and travel to Ukraine off the back of a 2-0 loss to Norrkoping. Srna is also a dangerous attacking player who could also grab an assist from the right back position.
