Group E & F Tips - Women's World Cup - Daily Fantasy Football Tips
TEAM STATISTICS
The bookies odds are a reliable source of information, especially for something as spontaneous as the Women's World Cup. Check out their odds, take them with a pinch of salt and build your team loosely around their predictions. Note: the lower the odds, the more chance of it happening. [table id=10 /]NOTES FROM THE BOOKIES
- Brazil W and France W to fire on all cylinders. Both teams look set to smash in the goals, but with the latter still searching for qualification, we think this week's points will come from the French attack.
- England W and Colombia W to go down to the wire. Assuming France W beat Mexico W as expected, England W will NEED to win as a draw would send Colombia W through. Both teams enter this fixture on the back of wins and will be pushing for another.
- South Korea W to upset the odds against Spain W. The two teams are in near identical form and tied at the bottom of Group E. With the Women's World Cup providing upset-after-upset, we think this one could hold the next.
- Costa Rica to catch Brazil celebrating. No doubt this weeks punt, but with the Brazilians already through and more than likely resting players, Costa Rica W could catch their opposition by surprise and secure qualification.
TEAM LINEUPS
Player rotation has been particularly hard to predict in the Women's World Cup this year with the squads sizes so big. The early fixtures this week are England W vs Colombia W and Mexico W vs France W, so you will be able to check your players from these teams are playing and make adjustments up to 15 minutes before kick off. ENGLAND XI: Bardsley, Scott, Williams, Houghton (C), Nobbs, Carney, Moore, Greenwood, Stoney, Duggan, Kirby COLOMBIA XI: Sepulveda, Gaitan (C), Ospina, Montoya, Velasquez, Rincon, Usme, Clavijo, N. Arias, Andrade, C. Arias MEXICO XI: Santiago, Robles, Garciamendez, Miranda, Ruiz, Rangel (C), Corral, Mayor, Ocampo, Espinoza, V. Perez FRANCE XI: Bouhaddi, Renard (C), Boulleau, Georges, Henry, Houara, Le Sommer, Abily, Thomis, Delie, Majri As for Costa Rica W vs Brazil W and South Korea W vs Spain W, we will need to make educated guesses as to which players are most likely to play.- Brazil W are one of the least rotated sides which could suggest their players are nailed on or due a rest. Proceed with caution. Prediction: 4-6 starting 11 rotations.
- Costa Rica W are the least rotated side in the Women's World Cup and searching for a win it's unlikely they'll upset the lineup too much. Prediction: 1-2 starting 11 rotations.
- South Korea W have an average rate of rotation and have been prone to making substitutions in last 75'. A win is needed so expect the big names to start. Prediction 1-3 starting 11 rotations.
- Spain W have an average rate of rotation and have been prone to making substitutions in last 70'. A win is needed so expect the big names to start. Prediction 1-3 starting 11 rotations.
PLAYER STATISTICS
We've selected the highest scoring (based on points per game) attacking player from each team and highlighted their key daily fantasy football statistics. [table id=11 /]PLAYER TIPS
Eugénie Le Sommer (F) $8.6M vs. Mexico W
Le Sommer is France's only goalscorer so far this competition so they'll be looking at her to lead the attack by example. France W are currently level with England W on points but -1 behind on goal difference, so will need a win and a few goals to help optimise their chances of safety. Valued at a fair price of 8.6m, Le Sommer - if she's starting - will be nailed in to all of our teams.
Francesca Kirby (F) $4.7M vs. Colombia W Now she's only played 112 minutes across both fixtures, but in that time she's delivered more points than any other England W player has in 180. With a goal and four shots on target so far this Women's World Cup, Kirby looks let to play a decisive role in England's qualification. Valued a mere $4.7M, the English striker - again, if she's playing - should be strongly considered.
