Clean Sheet Potential

1. Barcelona 2. Sevilla 3. Real Madrid 4. Celta Vigo 5. Atletico Madrid

TIP #1 BACK THE RAYO VALLECANO DEFENCE.

This weekend Paco Jemez's side welcome Malaga to the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas and they will be favourites to not only take the three points but also keep a clean sheet. Malaga have been shambolic in front of goal this season scoring seven goals in 14 games, there are 10 players across the league who have scored more individual goals than the team from the South of Spain. Their away form this season has been even worse they have not won a single game away on their travels because they haven't scored a single goal. If you are going to take any of the Rayo Vallecano players away from Javi Guerra then the defence is your best bet. The likes of Yoel, Ze Castro, Tito and Llorente should all be in line to keep their place from the 2-1 loss to Villarreal last weekend. The home side are out of form but their performances have got better in recent weeks.

TIP #2 NEYMAR OUT BUT THERE IS NOW VALUE IN THE BARCELONA ATTACK.

Barcelona will be without Neymar this weekend but you could still find value from the Barcelona forwards. His most likely replacement will be Munir who comes in at 4.9m on MondoGoal and and 9.0m on FantasyBet. If it isn't Munir starting it'll be Sandro Ramirez who is priced at 5.8m on MondoGoal and 8.0m on FantasyBet. The appealing thing about these two players is the fact that Barcelona kick off at 3pm, this enables you to check the starting XI's here before you finalise your selection. No matter which of the duo will start for Barcelona they should see a number of chances come there way this weekend. They will without doubt want to prove something to pundits, the fans, and more importantly Luis Enrique so expect an impressive performance.

TIP #3 MUSTAFI TO SCORE FOR VALENCIA.

Gary Neville has come across very well in the media since being appointed the Valencia manager, after Los Che were eliminated from the Champions League on Wednesday night Neville told the press he can't wait until Sunday afternoon's game. He may chance his viewpoint when he enters the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, it's a tiny stadium with a capacity of 6,300 and the pitch isn't the best of condition. Eibar themselves are a well coached side who are tough to break down. This means their creative outlets may be reduced to rushing chances and misplacing passes now Valencia have a very strong defender in the shape of Shkodran Mustafi the defender looks aggressive from corners against Lyon and could well hit the back of the net this weekend.

TIP #4 STACKING AN ATLETICO DEFENCE MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST IDEA.

It's no secret that Atletico Madrid have one of the best defences in not only Spain but in the world. They work as a unit and are incredibly tough to break down, their opposition are limited to the number of chances they get meaning they have to take them. In the league this season Atletico have conceded an incredible six goals in 14 games, whilst at the Vicente Calderon the figure sits at four goals. So why would you be careful with stacking on their defence? They face Athletic Club Bilbao this weekend whose away form is one of the best in the league, their most dangerous attacking threats Inaki Williams and Aduriz were both rested in the Europa League and the game will also see the return of former Atletico Madrid man Raul Garcia who made over 200 appearances for Atletico Madrid. He will be desperate to score in front of a set of fans who love him dearly. We can't guarantee that Atletico will concede this weekend but it'll be a test keeping out a strong Athletic Club unit.

TIP #5 - RUBEN CASTRO TO GET BACK ON THE SCORE SHEET.

Real Betis forward Ruben Castro is defying the unwritten rules of football. He's 34 years old and has eight goals to his name in the league this season, people doubted his credentials at the start of the season but he's proving people wrong and to a massive extent. His eight goals haven't come as a fluke, he's hard working and reads the game very well, leading the Betis man to be in the right place at the right time, game after game. He regularly completes 90 minutes for Pepe Mel's side and will do so again against bottom of the league Las Palmas this weekend, a side who have also conceded 22 goals in their 14 league games. Despite the bookies thinking Las Palmas will keep a clean sheet we believe they will conceded this weekend with Ruben Castro most likely to score.
