Another weekend of daily fantasy football is just around the corner and @jamieFPL has returned with his expert advice for the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 14 fixtures taking place on Saturday November 28th.

Our daily fantasy football tips focus on the games provided by Mondogoal and FantasyBet. However, they are still relevant to other daily games and also to the season long Fantasy Premier League game. As always, we advise all readers to check the official team line-ups one hour before kick off to ensure all your players (and our tips) are playing. Although we do our best to only select those who we think will start, it's tough to be 100% accurate. For the purpose of this article all prices are via our daily fantasy football partners Mondogoal (MO) and FantasyBet (FB).

Fixtures

Sunderland Vs. Stoke Aston Villa Vs. Watford Bournemouth Vs. Everton Crystal Palace Vs. Newcastle Man City Vs. Southampton Leicester Vs. Man Utd

Manchester City Vs. Southampton

Prediction: 3-1 Key Players: Agüero, De Bruyne, Kolarov, Long Manchester City's 1-0 defeat to Juventus in the Champions League this week marked their third successive outing without a win in all competitions. However, the Citizens have won each of their last four home league matches against the Saints. Visitors Southampton will be looking bounce back from their 1-0 defeat against Stoke last weekend. However, they are without top goal scorer Graziano Pellé who is sidelined due to suspension. Manchester City will no doubt have points in their attack this weekend and achieving a good variance of their attackers across your teams could prove important. Sergio Agüero (MO £14.7m FB £13.0m) will be top of most lists this weekend having returned from injury with a goal last weekend against Liverpool. Kevin De Bruyne (MO £13.0m FB £10.0m) exploded on the scene at Manchester City tallying up three goals and three assists in his opening five games. We expect the Belgian to prosper from the return of Agüero, and having slipped off the radar of some managers due to his recent form, his ownership could be lower than usual. Manchester City are without Vincent Kompany meaning they're more likely to concede, whereas Southampton are without Graziano Pellé meaning they're less likely to score. Depending on which side of the fence you sit, Shane Long (MO: £5.1m FB £6.0m) or Alexandar Kolarov (MO £8.5m FB £5.5m) could be good picks. Long is a huge punt but his pace will no doubt cause problems for Demichelis and Otamendi. If you don't think Long and Southampton will break down City, then Kolarov is always a safe bet due to his contribution in attack.

Leicester Vs. Manchester United

Prediction: 2-1 Key Players: Vardy, Mahrez Leicester are on track to become the first team in 14 years outside of the traditional ‘top five', to top the table at the start of December. After an unstoppable start to the season that's left fans dreaming of Europe, the Foxes now have it all to prove as they face United, Swansea, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester City in their next six league outings. Visitors Manchester United find their Champions League hopes in balance after their lacklustre performance against PSV during the week. In the Premier League it's a different story where the Red Devils find themselves unbeaten in their last five. Last weekend Jamie Vardy (MO £11.4m FB £6.0m) matched Ruud van Nistelrooy's Premier League record, this weekend he'll be looking to break it against Nistelrooy's old club. It's a tall order against a defence that's only conceded nine all season, but based on his incredible form this year we're backing fixture-proof Vardy to smash the record. After storming from the gates at the beginning of the Premier League campaign, Riyad Mahrez (MO £11.6m FB £5.5m) has become one of the most consistent daily fantasy football picks, averaging 12.74 points per game on Mondogoal. His form is going somewhat unnoticed with teammate Jamie Vardy firmly in the spotlight. Nevertheless, we think that Mahrez is a safer bet than any United midfielder or striker.

Bournemouth Vs. Everton

Prediction: 1-3 Key Players: Lukaku, King Bournemouth managed to end their run of four straight defeats with a 2-2 draw against Swansea City at the weekend. Now on home turf, they will need to put in a very strong performance to overcome an Everton side that is in excellent form. The Toffees are unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches and in that time they have scored a whopping 11 goals, conceding just three times in the process. Romelu Lukaku (MO £10.3m FB £8.0m) was criticised at the beginning of the season for his inconsistency and rare explosive point returns. However, he's recently found his scoring boots and has now converted four goals in Everton's last three games. He's odds on to find the net again this weekend against a Bournemouth side that are leaking goals. Callum Wilson's ACL injury was a huge blow for Bournemouth and ever since it's been noticeable that none of Howe's backup strikers are of the same pedigree. Josh King (MO £3.5m FB £5.0m) led the line last weekend and caused the Swansea defence some problems. If you're looking to free up some cash on Mondogoal or for an out of position player on FantasyBet, King's your man.

Sunderland Vs. Stoke

Prediction: 0-1 Key Players: Butland, Pieters, Johnson Sunderland will be chasing back-to-back wins after their surprise away victory at Crystal Palace on Monday. A late winner from Jermaine Defoe rounded up what had been a sound defensive display from the Black Cats. Visitors Stoke recorded an impressive 1-0 win at Southampton which means they're now unbeaten in their last four away games, taking 10 points from a possible 12. Sunderland posed minimal attacking threat against Palace and we cannot see them breaking down a Stoke defence that's kept three clean sheets in their three Premier League matches. Jack Butland (MO £10.6m FB £4.5m) has been a set-and-forget goalkeeper in recent weeks and his consistency has left a lot of managers hailing the young keepers ability. If you're looking to load up on Stoke defenders then Erik Pieters (MO £8.9m FB £5.0m) and Glen Johnson (MO £8.9m FB £5.0m) are the logical choices. Johnson already has two assists for the season and Pieters recorded his first last weekend against Southampton.

Aston Villa Vs. Watford

Prediction: 0-1 Key Players: Ighalo, Gomes Aston Villa will view this fixture as a must-win having failed to secure a victory since the beginning of the season. The 4-0 defeat to Everton was the hosts' first real battering of the season, so it'll be interesting to see how they react. Visitors Watford have shown they're no pushovers and have put in some exceptional defensive displays so far this Premier League campaign. It's likely to be a nervy start at Villa Park with the home side keeping things tight to avoid conceding the first goal. Odion Ighalo (MO £9.6m FB £5.0m) has proven to be a real threat up top for Watford this season having already converted seven and assisted three. If Villa concede an early goal, the floodgates could open again like last week, meaning Ighalo would likely tally up a huge score. Watford have the seventh best defence in the league and Aston Villa have the worst attack, which suggests Watford have one of the best chances for a clean sheet this weekend. Heurelho Gomes (MO £8.4m FB £4.5m) looks a strong candidate for a place between your sticks. The former Spurs keeper has impressed this season recording five clean sheets and an average of three saves per game.

Crystal Palace Vs. Newcastle

Prediction: 1-1 Key Players: Cabaye, Wijnaldum Crystal Palace are without a home win in the league since the beginning of October, and with their attack failing to convince in recent weeks it's hard to see where a turnaround will come from. Newcastle are still no closer to sorting out their problems and were comfortably brushed aside by top of the league Leicester City last time out. With Sunderland capitalising on Palace despite being dominated all game, Newcastle will no doubt fancy their chances here. With both teams out of form and no players providing consistent returns this game could house some good differentials, but to predict one would be no more than a mere stab in the dark. We think that Yohan Cabaye (MO £7.3m FB £6.5m) and Georgio Wijnaldum (MO £10.8m FB £7.0m) are the safest bets for returns. Cabaye is on four goals for the season and his potential for returns is optimised by the fact he's Palace's penalty taker. Wijnaldum – in games where Newcastle score – has usually contributed in one way or another. He's by no means consistent, but he has shown he can score four in a single game out of nowhere.
