Fantasy Tippeligaen Tips For Daily Fantasy Football Betting: March 18/19/20
Goalkeepers
Gudmund Kongshavn (£4.5m), Tromsø Tromsø had a tough opening round fixture at The Aker Stadium versus title candidates Molde, but they picked up a surprise 1-1 draw. Kongshavn shouldn't be troubled too much in Gameweek 2, as his team face Start at home. Despite finding the net, Start created very little in the opening round. Key player Kristoffer Ajer was also forced out after 30 mins and if he's unavailable this weekend, then Kongshavn have a very nice chance for a clean sheet. Ethan Horvath (£6.0m), Molde Horvath and the Molde squad will want to forget the opening week, as they failed to take three points from Tromsø. Their defensive performance was a bit sloppy throughout and they allowed their opposition to score a goal from a tight angle - between Horvath's legs. This weekend Molde are facing Stabæk, who are in horrible form: STB have lost nine matches in a row, scoring just two goals in the process. They created close to nothing in the opening round, and the Molde defense shouldn't have any major problems here.Defenders
Joona Toivio (£6.5m) & Per Egil Flo (£7.0m), Molde If you're looking to stack in defence, you should consider picking Molde left-back Per Egli Flo or captain Joona Toivio to accompany Horvath. Flo has great potential to provide assists and also scored four goals last season. Toivio is originally a centre-back, but plays on right side and sometimes takes direct free kicks. A good chance of a clean sheet and some attacking returns for both. William Troost-Ekong (£5.0) & Izuchukwu Anthony (£4.5m), Haugesund Haugesund are the most in-form team in the Tippeligaen so far in the year 2016 with with an amazing 21-3 goal difference. This means FKH have kept six clean sheets in nine matches and also four in their last five. Haugesund is playing with a 3-5-2 line-up and the duo will be in the heart of the defense. FKH meets Aalesund at home in the second round, who provide minimal attacking threat, so another clean sheet seems likely. Note: Nemanja Tubic (£4.5m) is an even better option, but he was ruled out with a fever last weekend - there is a chance he won't feature this gameweek, but could be worth a selection if your FantasyBet bench is strong. Andre Danielsen (£7.0m), Viking Viking took a priceless away win over Vålerenga in the opening round and the Stavanger team had to really defend hard not to concede a goal against a strong opponent, but this time it'll be much easier. Viking meet Sarpsborg at home, who are traditionally goal-shy travellers. Sarpsborg couldn't score in the opening round either, but lost to Haugesund 0-1 on home soil. Danielsen is the most likely player to pick up points, having contributed with five goals and six assists last season. Viking's backline has been cemented to Danielsen-Mets-Soares-Haugen recently, and you'd consider picking up any of these guys with Danielsen to your team.Midfielders
Aron Sigurdarson (£5.0), Tromsø Iceland national team winger Aron Sigurdarson already looks like an exciting signing. He scored 6 goals in the Iceland Premier League last season and is in a great form right now. Sigurdarson scored a very well taken goal against Molde in the season opener - his fourth goal in as many matches for Tromsø. He also hit two goals against Brann in the final pre-season match a few weeks ago. Sigurdarsson has a very favourable fixture - at home against the weakest team in the league (Start), and has a great chance to pick up a goal or an assist here. Fredrik Nordkvelle (£8.0), Odd Odd looked impressive in their season debut against RBK in the opening 45 minutes. They created a lot of danger and key midfielder Nordkvelle was the man who scored the only goal of the match. Odd travel to Bergen to meet Brann, who are far from solid defensively. Brann leaked two goals against Strømsgodset (both of them due to very poor defending) in the season opener and they also lost 0-3 the preseason finale to Tromsø. Mike Jensen (£10.0m), Rosenborg Skipper Mike Jensen picked up three goals and 13 assists last season and he's very much Rosenborg's very own Mesut Ozil. He failed to impact the opening round, which casts him as a slight differential for gameweek 2. Rosenborg will be hungry to bounce back after the first round defeat and the return of key midfielder Pål Andre Helland (11.5m) will no doubt boost the squad. He's expensive, but worth every penny and will cause the Strømsgodset defense some serious problems.Strikers
Thomas Lehne Olsen (£6.0m), Tromsø Tromsø lost their main attacking threat Zdenek Ondrasek during the winter. This target man was the main source of goals for TIL for many years, and now Thomas Lehne Olsen has big boots to fill. The year looks very promising so far, since Lehne Olsen has four goals and one assist from 6 matches. The opening fixture was a tough away match against Molde, and it's no surprise he couldn't score there, however, Lehne Olsen faces the weak Start defense at home, so will be hoping to open his goalscoring account in The Tippeligaen. Christian Gytkjær (£13.0m), Rosenborg Rosenborg had 17 shots in the opening match against Odd but managed to get just 2 of them on target. RBK needs to bounce back after a disappointing first round result here. The SIF defense conceded twice against a weak Brann attack in the opening round, and didn't impress at all. Gytkjær is the #1 target of Rosenborg and he will be expensive, but very likely worth it. Rosenborg are very likely to score in the second round. Mathias Bringaker (£5.0m), Viking This is a proper differential pick and a gamble, if you don't know the exact starting XI. Bringaker scored the goal to make it 0-2 against Vålerenga on Monday, making him the top scorer of Viking this year, despite the fact he hasn't started a single match yet! Bringaker has already scored 4 goals in pre-season, all of those from the bench. It could be that he gets a chance now and replaces one of the misfiring strikers of Viking, and this is a player not many will include to their team. If you pick Bringaker be to have a decent replacement on the bench - although he might score anyway, as an impact substitute! Thanks to our partners playerdatabase247 for providing the information for this article.
