Welcome to another Serie A Fantasy Football article. Tom Daniels picks out his top 5 fantasy tips for Gameweek 29.
Gameweek 28 was a week to forget for AC Milan as their run of form was halted thanks to a 2-0 defeat against in-form Sassuolo. Goals from Duncan and Sansone where enough to halt AC Milan in there race for a Europa League place.
Meanwhile Inter Milan where too much for Palermo as they cruised to a 3-1 victory. Victories for Juventus, Napoli and Roma meant that the top 3 stayed the same, however Fiorentina's failure to beat Roma has pushed them adrift off the Champions League places.
Frosinone's inspired victory over fellow strugglers Udinese has put them only 1 point off Palermo in 17
th. However it looks like Verona's ultimate comeback was short lived as they were beaten by Sampdoria 3-0.
Here are our top five tips for the weekend all of our player prices are from our partners at

Tip 1 Inter Milan to continue their push for 3rd.
Last Gameweek was a must win for Inter Milan and this week's match is no different as their victory over Palermo puts them 5 points off 3
rd place Roma. Inter Milan know that they need a victory against Bologna if they want to have champion's league football next season. With this in mind we expect Inter Milan to go all out to secure a victory. We recommend
Ivan Perisic (£7.2m) as a deadly midfield option for your Serie A fantasy team. The Croatian midfielder has struggled to be a consistent starter for Inter Milan however last week he scored an impressive 19.85. Along with that Perisic has been pressing as of late with his performances and providing he start then he could be a bargain for the price you have to pay.
On the other hand if you have a enough budget it may be smart to put
Mauro Icardi (£10.2m) in your team. Icardi is Inter Milan's top goal scorer this season and with an average points per game score of 7.32 (Inter Milan's 3
rd highest) he almost guarantee's a good performance. You do however have to take into account Inter Milan's opponents. Bologna sit 9
th in the table on are technically unbeaten in 5 games. Although 4 of them have been draws so Inter Milan may have a problem breaking Bologna's defence. However if they do then expect there to be many goals and many points up for grabs.
Tip 2 Fiorentina to beat a helpless Verona.
Fiorentina have recently started to lose a bit of form as of late, however they should beat a Verona side that looks set to be playing in the Serie B next season. Verona's little revival looks to be over as they recorded their second loss in a row last Gameweek. Also the last couple of Game weeks haven't been good for Fiorentina as they have drawn and lost their last two games, leaving the champions league challengers 4
th. However Fiorentina certainly have enough quality to brush aside Verona, and so we recommend
Josip Ilicic (£11.4m) as a viable midfield option. Ilicic has been brilliant for Fiorentina this season and his price reflects that while he may not be cheap he is well worth the money. Ilicic has played 22 games this season and has averaged an amazing 10.22 points per game. With 11 goals and 5 assists the midfielder is becoming a proven goal scorer and a goal provider. Fiorentina will also be against a team that has been notably poor at the back, so it may be worth splashing the cash on the exciting midfielder.
Tip 3 Frosinone to climb out of relegation.
This Sunday Frosinone have arguably one of their most important matches of the season as they face fellow strugglers Carpi. Frosinone will also know that a win on Sunday could take them out of relegation (providing Palermo don't win). Carpi have failed to win in 8 games and are closer to Verona (18) than Palermo (27) so they will also feel that this match is a must win. Frosinone will go out and attack from the start and it will be Carpi's inability to score which will provide Frosinone a victory. With this in mind we recommend
Daniel Ciofani (£5.6m) and
Federico Dionisi (£5.4m). Both forwards impressed against Udinese last Gameweek and against another fellow relegation struggler they are likely to impress again. Both players have been underrated this Serie A season and considering the team they are in they have been quite prolific in front of goal. Ciofani is Frosinone's top goal scorer with 8 goals, and this is closely followed by Dionisi with 7 goals. Dionisi also adds the possibility of an assist as he also have assisted 4 goals this Serie A campaign. Perhaps there biggest appeal is that they are very cheap and, while they not be a first choice if money, they could easily fit into any team if money is spent elsewhere.
Tip 4 Roma to continue their impressive run.
Despite dominance from Napoli and Juventus in the Serie A it is in fact Roma who are the team in-form. Roma have won 7 games in a row now and it doesn't look like it's stopping anytime soon as they face a humiliated Udinese this Sunday. Points can be won all over the pitch in this game but we recommend that
Wojciech Szczesny (£7.4m) is the man to put in goal this week. Szczesny has been criticized for not performing his best in the big matches, however against lesser opposition he has always been reliable. The Arsenal loanee currently has 15 clean sheets to his name, and against a Udinese side that couldn't score against relegation threatened Frosinone, then it is highly likely that Szczesny will claim his 16
th clean sheet of the season.
The magical duo that is
Mohamed Salah (£11.6m) and
Stephan El Shaarawy (£8.4m) could also strike yet again, so at least one of them should be considered in your team. Salah has been a consistent performer this season with 11 goals and 3 assists and, along with his forward partner, has recently started to hit some unbelievable form. The Egyptian recorded an impressive 24.12 points against Fiorentina and against lesser opposition there is no reason why he can't do the same again. The same can be said for El Shaarawy as he also recorded 16.44 points. The January signing has proved to be a big hit for Roma having scored 5 goals and assisting 2 in only 6 games.
Tip 5 Lazio to snatch victory against Atalanta.
Lazio's dream of getting European football is slowly slipping away, and their inability to win games has cost them as they are now 6 points off Sassuolo. Now while Lazio are more than likely to win this game it may be wise to invest defensively in this game. So we recommend
Wesley Hoedt (£8.00m) as the defender to solidify your fantasy team's defence. In 18 appearances Hoedt has managed to keep 8 clean sheets and against one of the worst scoring teams in the league he looks set for a relatively easy job at the back. Another option could be
Abdoulay Konko (£6.9m). The French player could prove to be a pivotal part of Lazio's defence and he could be the deciding factor on whether they concede or get a clean sheet.
