Welcome to another Serie A Fantasy Football article. Tom Daniels picks out his top 5 fantasy tips for Gameweek 33.
Gameweek 32 provided little in terms of shock results as both Napoli and Juventus both where victorious against Verona and AC Milan. However Roma could not secure a victory as they drew 1-1 to Bologna. Due to Roma's inability to finish the game Inter Milan are now 6 points behind them, giving the Milan side a glimmer of hope that they can secure a champions league place. Chievo's impressive run continues as the beat carpi 1-0 putting them only 5 points of 6
th place AC Milan. The situation at the bottom of the table looks very similar as Carpi, Palermo, Frosinone and Verona all lost keeping the relegation battle just as interesting as the previous week.
Here are our top five tips for Gameweek 33 all of our player prices are from our partners at Mondogoal, who provide daily Fantasy Football contests for a variety of European leagues.

Tip 1 - Inter Milan to crush Napoli's title dreams.
With Champions league football for Inter Milan now a slight possibility it is possible that the Milan club can topple the title chasers. The major factor in this is the absence of
Gonzalo Higuain. In Napoli's previous match they did not need to prolific striker, however they were against relegation strugglers Verona and Inter Milan will be a much bigger challenge without him. For this game we recommend that
Mauro Icardi be the man you put up front in your team. Icardi has been in good form this season for Inter Milan scoring 14 goals and assisting 2 in the Serie A. with the chance of a champions league spot a possibility Mancini will do everything in his power to get the result they want. It may also be wise to invest in
Samir Handanovic as the experienced keepers has been arguably one of the best goalkeepers this season. Also, due to the lack of striking quality, Napoli will struggle to convert goals considering they are missing their key man upfront.
Tip 2 - Verona to continue fight for survival.
Verona have possibly one of the most important matches of their season as the face 19
th place Frosinone. They know that with a victory they can give them enough momentum to possibly perform the biggest great escape in the Serie A. If you're wanting to take a gamble then we recommend that you put
Artur Ionita in your squad. Ionita (compared to most Verona players) has had an okay campaign scoring 4 goals in the Serie A. However the midfielder has had games where he has looked dangerous and against fellow strugglers Frosinone he cloud be in his element and score a couple of goals. Frosinone have got the worst defensive record in the Serie A conceding 60 goals and having an abysmal -31 goal difference so we also wouldn't be surprised if
Luca Toni or
Giampaolo Pazzini score a couple of goals as well.
Tip 3 - Juventus to pummel poor Palermo.
No team in the Serie A can seem to stop Juventus at the moment and Palermo will be no different. Palermo have been undeniably poor and are a team that looks like it belongs in the Serie B. Players like Giancarlo Gonzalez and Ivaylo Chochev have been particularly poor. With this in mind we recommend Alvaro Morata as your main striking option. The former Real Madrid man has only scored 10 goals in all competitions but as the fight for competition in the striking role intensifies Morata could prove to rise above the rest. The heavy transfer speculation linking him back to Real Madrid could prove to make the Spanish forward lose his focus. But on the other hand it could make him thrive to do the best he can to secure a big move elsewhere. The other option could be Mario Mandzukic as he is another striker that will want to prove himself in the Juventus line up. All in all expect goals in this game and it's safe to say that any Juventus player is a highly recommended pick for your fantasy teams.
Tip 4 - Torino to make it 3 wins in a row.
Bologna vs Torino really is a game of two teams going in different directions. Bologna have now gone 7 games without a win and without their first half season form they would really be struggling in the Serie A. Luckily though it seems that they may have done enough to avoid relegation. However Torino struggled at first in the Serie A but have since recorded 2 wins in a row now and are looking to improve with every game. We think that
Andrea Belotti's and
Kamil Glik's performances will be the main factor between Torino's victory or their loss. Belotti is Torino's top goal scorer with 9 goals and also has 4 assists to his name. The 22 year old has proven that age isn't everything as he seems to have really established himself into a top quality player for Torino. Glik on the other hand is starting to enter his prime as a defender. At 28 years of age the polish international has been a rock for the most part of Torino's season. While he has been shaky his performances have never been sub-par and will prove to be a very reliable pick if you put him in your back line.
Tip 5 - llicic to help Fiorentina return to winning ways.
Fiorentina at this moment in time are in real risk of not securing a European spot if their recent run of bad for continues. Fiorentina's 2-0 loss to Empoli has now risen their total to 6 Serie A games without a victory (7 including their loss to Tottenham in the Europa league). However if there is one man to help Fiorentina secure European football for next season it is
Josip Ilicic. With 14 goals and 5 assists in all competitions the Slovenian international has been the clubs best attacking player this season. Even though his form has stumbled he was capable to get Fiorentina 5
th and he is capable that they remain in that place. However Fiorentina the tough task of playing Sassuolo. This game also hinges on the performance of
Domenico Berardi and
Nicola Sansone because on a good day they are capable of beating any team.
