Fantasy Betting - Gameweek 14 - Fantasy Premier League Tips

Share post on:
Last week's tips could have proved decisive to anybody who followed them with Gareth McAuley, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Sergio Aguero among the highest point scorers in Gameweek 13. This week we've returned with a few more players to keep your eye on ahead of Gameweek 14's daily fantasy contests. Bet4theBest is a website that allows you to create a new FPL team each GW and enter it into either a £5, £10 or £20 league. The entry fees are totalled up and split between the managers who scored highest that GW. The game is one that I feel you guys will learn quickly and could profit from. The website boasts budget-free team selection, top-heavy payout structures and smaller, more competitive, contests.

Gameweek 14 Ones To Watch:

Victor Valdes vs. Hull (H)

Middlesbrough lead this week's clean sheet forecast as they welcome Hull City to the Riverside Stadium. Boro have been no pushovers at the back this season, conceding significantly less than any other team in the bottom half (15, the same amount as Manchester United). Hull have only managed four goals from their last six matches, making them the easiest opposition on paper. Valdes looks like a strong candidate for a clean sheet and could quite likely pick up points for multiple saves, as Hull look to grab goals from set-pieces.

Matip vs. Bournemouth (A)

Opting for Liverpool defenders was an absolute no-go at the start of the season as they looked to outscore their opponents, rather than shut them out. Since their clean sheet against Man United in Gameweek 8 they have shown signs of improving defensively, and more recently have managed two clean sheets in their last two matches. Joel Matip found his first Premier League goal in Gameweek 10, and since then has edged himself above Dejan Lovren as the Liverpool defender with the highest goalscoring potential. He's managed an attempt on goal in three of his last four matches and could easily extend that against the Cherries.

Hazard vs. Man City (A)

Despite failing to score or assist in his last two matches, Eden Hazard still remains the most in form player from the last four weeks with a PPG average of 9.75. This weekend he will called upon to provide the difference as the two title favourites meet in Manchester. Manchester City have only managed two clean sheets from their opening 13 matches this season. Chelsea, on the other hand, have been unstoppable at both ends of the pitch and will look to make it eight wins on the bounce.

Kane vs. Swansea (H)

Harry Kane has managed three goals in as many matches since returning from injury in Gameweek 11. This week he extended his contract with Spurs, meaning he will remain at the club until 2022. We now expect a warm welcome at White Hart Lane and a performance that further displays why he's worth £150,000 a week. This week's opposition lifted themselves off bottom place last week following their second win of the season (which ended 5-4). The Swans have conceded an average of 2.75 goals per game from their last four and will have their work cut out against a strong Tottenham side.
