Euro Qualifiers October 11th - Daily Fantasy Football Tips

Share post on:
Welcome back to another Daily Fantasy Football Tips article and it's another set of international football fixtures. Last night saw Wales secure there place in France whilst Holland's chances of qualification is out of their own hands. Tonight there is another set of fixtures, with the majority of them kicking off at 5pm. Not to worry if you are late though as Mondogoal also have tournaments open for the three late kick off games. Without further ado, here are the fixtures and our recommendations. Sunday 11th October Armenia v Albania Faroe Islands v Romania Finland v Northern Ireland Greece v Hungary Serbia v Portugal Germany v Georgia Gibraltar v Scotland Poland v Ireland

Cleansheet Potential

The bookies are suggesting Germany, Scotland, Romania, Poland and Hungary are the five most likely teams to keep a clean sheet in this round of fixtures. With Albania sitting just outside the top five.

Goalkeeper Tips

Where else to start than Manuel Neuer (7.9m) he is probably the best keeper in the world at this current moment in time and at 7.9m offers a cheap but rewarding option in goal. Germany fell to a 1-0 defeat to Ireland last time out meaning they need a win to guarantee top spot in qualification. Throughout qualifying the Germans have conceded eight goals, and with Georgia on the road to Germany expect to see Neuer add another clean sheet to his collection. The bookies are looking favourable upon Romania tonight and Ciprian Tatarusanu (9.9m) will be looking to add to his six clean sheets this campaign. Before the 1-1 draw with Finland on Thursday night the Romanians had three consecutive 0-0 draws and five consecutive clean sheets. Romania have almost sealed their flights to France next summer and a win tonight against the Faroe Islands would guarantee that.

Defender Tips

There is no doubt that tonight there will be heavy focus on the Scotland defence. They face Gibraltar who quite frankly Scotland should not be conceding against. They have only scored two goals in their nine games and to be fair that's a good achievement in their first Euro qualifying campaign. Scotland can no longer qualify but will be keen to go out with their heads held high. This gives the likes of Russell Martin (7.6m) and Alan Hutton (7.5m) the chance to rack up some clean sheet points HOWEVER as Scotland are no longer in with a chance of France 2016 there is a likely hood the defence may be subject to some rotation. So if you are planning on a Scotland defence, please check the team news before you do so. Another popular choice tonight is going to be the Germans. The pairing of Jerome Boateng (8.9m) and Mats Hummels (9.4m) would be a good addition to any DFF side. They are both world-class defenders who when paired together are a nightmare to break down. MondoGoal rely on outside sources for their squad list so the German defence options are very limited. We would however stick with the German duo. The bookies do like the look of Albania to keep a clean sheet tonight. If you were going to opt for anyone out of their defence then Lorik Cana (4.0m) could be the player to opt for. The centre back plays is football in France for Nantes having previously spent 4 years with Lazio. The Albanian defender has endured a rough time this campaign and in the famous match against Serbia had his finger bitten by a fan. A win tonight for Albania could see them secure automatic qualification.

Attacking Potential

It is no surprise to see that once again it's Germany and Scotland leading the way to score tonight. They both come up against sides they should be putting four or five goals past tonight. The likes of Poland, Portugal, Hungary and Serbia closely behind.

Midfielder Tips

The Germany midfield has so many potential picks but it's Mesut Ozil (11.8m) who is the standout pick for us. He has really started to show some form this season both for Arsenal and Germany and tonight his creativity is going to be on show against what is a weak Georgia defence. Ozil has three assists this campaign and will be looking to add to that tonight. His fellow German, Mario Gotze (10.6m) also offers great MondoGoal potential. He is sometimes deployed as a striker for Germany and has a real eye for goal. Monaco playmaker Bernardo Silva (10.1m) has developed at a fantastic rate this year, and is now featuring for the Portugal senior side on a regular occasion. He started in Portugal's 1-0 win over Denmark so expect to see him back in the starting 11 pulling the strings in midfield, creating goal scoring opportunities either for himself or his team mates. Staying on the theme of creative players, Adam Ljajic (6.1m) could also sprinkle his magic feet on tonight's games. In all honesty the Serbian's have underperformed this time round. They have a squad bursting with talent but won't be featuring in France. Yes, arguably that is down to the fans fault, which saw them deducted three points but with only two wins to their name the Serbians should have done better. Anyway Ljajic is another player whose creativity is going to be needed tonight to unlock to Portugal defence. He picked up a late goal in the 2-0 win over Albania with a wonderful individual effort and will be looking to end the qualification campaign on a high. On Thursday night, our very own NaturalFootballFan tipped Balazs Dzsudzsak (7.8m) and we are going back to the Hungarian captain. As NFF mentioned he is integral to the Hungarians and is a vital part to their side. He is the penalty taker and isn't bad from free kicks. This obviously gives him more of a chance of adding to his MondoGoal score. He will come up against Greece tonight, a side who haven't won a game in their nine qualification matches and have conceded 11. Hungary are on the edge of automatic qualification and although it doesn't rest in their hands, they will be looking to put on a performance tonight. This gives Dzsudzsak the perfect chance to prove just how much he is worth to the Hungarians.

Forward Tips

It's almost impossible to overlook Robert Lewandowski (15.9m) the Polish striker is arguably the most inform striker in the world. In his last five matches for club and country he has scored 14 goals. FOURTEEN. That's 14 goals in just 17 days. He currently sits on 12 goals and needs just two more to overtake David Healy as the all time record scorer in a single Euro Championship qualifying campaign. Good luck Robert. If someone had told me that with one game to go Kyle Lafferty (3.5m) would have seven goals in qualification leaving him tied with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney and ahead of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo I would have laughed in your face. Well, it's become a reality – the Norwich forward has shone for Northen Ireland and has been integral to their campaign. Without a doubt will be looking to add to his tally tonight and edge further away from the big name strikers surrounding him. Finally it's the German Thomas Muller (15.6m) there is somewhat of a question mark over the head of Muller, but one thing is for certain he is a world class striker and offers something completely different to Germany, without the Bayern man they don't look as fluid. The forward has eight goals going into tonight's games and should be one of the biggest scorers of the night. Join us throughout the week for more International Daily Fantasy Football Tips
