Euro Qualifiers October 10th - Daily Fantasy Football Tips

Share post on:
The international fixtures just keep on coming. Last night we saw England continue their 100% start to the group after goals from Theo Walcott and Raheem Sterling. Elsewhere there were wins for Spain, Switzerland and Austria. Tonights it's the turn of Groups A, B and H. It's an interesting set of fixtures tonight as a lot of teams need to win to secure either a final place or a qualification place so it may well be a good idea to bank on these teams? Without further ado, here are the fixtures and our recommendations. Saturday 10th October Azerbaijan v Italy Iceland v Latvia Kazakhstan v Netherlands Norway v Malta Andorra v Belgium Bosnia & Herzegovina v Wales Croatia v Bulgaria Czech Republic v Turkey Israel v Cyprus

Formation Advice

Usually on Daily Fantasy Football many people opt for a three at the back formation. There is a very high chance that a lot of sides will be keeping clean sheets tonight, for that reason we recommend a four at the back formation for the Euro fixtures.

Cleansheet Potential

The bookies are suggesting that Belgium are the favourites to keep a clean sheet. They travel to Andorra who have scored three goals in their eight qualifying games. Elsewhere Norway, Italy and Holland are also being tipped to keep a clean sheet.

Goalkeeper Tips

We've seen time and time again that age is all but a number for Gianluigi Buffon (8.0m) the Italian shot stopper is showing no signs of declining and even at the age of 37 Buffon is an integral part to the Azzuri. Tonight he will face Azerbaijan who have only scored six goals in the qualifying campaign whilst Italy have only conceded the five. Another keeper who offers a clean sheet is the Icelandic Hannes Thor Halldorsson (9.0m) although he comes at a more expensive price than Buffon the price tag is justified if you look at the group stage. Iceland have only conceded three goals in this qualification campaign in a group that contains the likes of Holland and Turkey. Latvia themselves have only scored four goals and in the return fixture fell to a 3-0 defeat.

Defender Tips

Jan Vertonghen (8.1m) featured in what was the weirdest “news” story of the week after his mum dropped him off to the Belgium training camp. As previously mentioned he will come up against Andorra tonight and with Belgium needing a win to secure automatic qualification and push Wales all the way for top spot Marc Wilmots will be putting out his strongest side to ensure his side do not slip up against the minnows. It could well be worth doubling or even tripling up on the Belgium defence with the lies of Toby Alderweireld (8.7m) in the side who also offers good attacking potential. Croatia will be looking to push for an automatic qualification place tonight when they face Bulgaria. Once again looking at the stats, the Bulgarians have scored seven goals whilst the Croatians have conceded five, two of which came in their last game against Norway. The Croatian fullbacks are very important to Niko Kovac so when we look at defensive options the fullbacks really appeal to us. It's Darijo Srna (9.2m) who looks the best bet. He has collected three assists in the European Qualifiers and will be hoping to add to that against Bulgaria. The final defensive tip comes in the shape of Welsh captain Ashley Williams (7.6m) following the Welsh this campaign has been a fantastic experience. So far they have only conceded two goals including two against Belgium. Tonight they need a win to secure an automatic qualification spot and book their tickets to France. The Swansea defender has been fantastic for the Welsh and has really shown why so many rate him so highly. He's going to need to be resilient tonight to keep out the Bosnians but expect Williams to rise to the challenge.

Attacking Potential

It's no surprise that once again Belgium are the favourites, Andorra have conceded 30 goals in the qualifying stages and with the attacking talent Belgium have at their disposal it will be a massive shock if they don't score. The bookies also like Italy, Holland, Norway, Wales and Croatia to score tonight.

Midfielder Tips

Moving into the attacking tips there is plenty of potential for you to pick from. Where else do we start than with Gareth Bale (11.2m) The Welsh wizard really has been the standout player for Wales this campaign and has arguably carried them through a few games with his late winners. The Real Madrid star has just come back from an injury but did feature on the bench against Atletico Madrid and ended up replacing Isco after 66 minutes. Another player who has helped his side massively in the qualification campaign is Iceland's Gylfi Sigurdsson (9.7m) although the playmaker has struggled to register goals and assists this season in the Premier League his form for Iceland is superb. In the qualifying campaign he has scored five goals and assisted one. As we know with the Swansea man he is a dead ball specialist and with the ball at his feet can unlock a defence with an effortless pss. Since his move to Manchester City Kevin De Bruyne (14.6m) has captured the hearts of both City fans and Daily Fantasy Football players. He has scored three goals and assisted two in his opening four games. In terms of the European Qualifying campaign he has three goals and collected two assists. The midfielder is very much in form and will be looking to continue his club form onto the international stage. Belgium's top scorer this qualifying stage has been Marouane Fellaini (5.9m) with four goals. He brings a fantastic asset in the air and if he starts he could well add to his goal tally.

Forward Tips

Graziano Pelle (9.6m) has started the Premier League season like a house on fire. In his eight league appearances he has five goals and two assists. Whilst in the qualifying campaign he has two goals. The Southampton man has started the last three competitive games for the Italians and will be in line to continue that trend alongside Eder (9.6m) who is currently the top scorer in Serie A with six goals. The Italian pair will both be looking to get on the score sheet tonight against a weak Azerbaijan side. The Dutch have endured a very disappointing qualification campaign. If one thing is a guarantee they will be hoping to change that tonight against Kazakhstan. Their striker Klaas-Jan Huntellar (7.7m) looks the best bet for goals in the Holland side. The 32-year-old has four goals in the qualification stages and will need to be on top of his game to help his side qualify.
