If they are introducing a late swap feature they need to make an app for those who can’t access the site come kick off. Those who are investing serious money into the game should be able to control it on the go. #DFF
I took a punt on him last week and I think I’m going to back him again Georginio Wijnaldum please carry the armband well this week.
I think I’m going to opt for Harry Kane, although Watford have a good home record and don’t concede often they showed against Chelsea they can be outdone with pace and skill. Kane to bring home the points!!
I think on FPL I’ll be mixing between an Arsenal and Southampton defence, I love Virgil van Dijk cause he also brings a threat from set pieces, I hope Southampton kick on after this result.
On DFF I think a combination of Liverpool and Southampton will be my plan of attack!
I think it’s going to be Oliver Giroud for me, I can see Arsenal creating plenty of chances with Giroud finishing a handful of them
Really good article this, I love that it brings information from both FPL and the daily game. I think I’ll be option for the Stoke-Stack on DFF, the 3 goals against Everton was an anomaly from this season and I can’t see that happening against West Brom.
For me it has to be Diego Cotsa – He looks a new man since the appointment of Guus Hiddink and this Chelsea side look fresh. Costa was drifting out wide and almost playing as a left winger under Mourinho, it hurt his chances of scoring massively.
Under Hiddink he’s played more centrally, his assist against Palace was superb the run was well timed and looked like the Costa of old. If Chelsea persist with the Mikel-Fabregas pivot in midfield it could free up attacking potential for Fabregas who had an unbelievable partnership with Costa last season.
A really interesting and thought provoking analysis. I can’t help but think Rooney is going to replace Kane in my side soon. Someone stop me.
Matt Targett is a steal at 3.7m, it’s almost worth playing him and if he doesn’t play having a strong bench.
Fabianksi
Smalling
Shelvey Payet
Kane
Mignolet
Klose
Shelvey Ayew
Vardy
I think for me it has to be Firmino, vs a poor Aston Villa defence.
Courtois
Ivanovic
Shelvey
Ighalo
Lukaku
Right then, time to earn my place back.

Thanks for the compliment, I really think Afobe could add a lot to Bournemouth. If they can get him the service the goals could come. That’s why he was my MondoGoal tip and not FPL as he isn’t worth the initial risk of your FPL side just yet.
Naismith could become a great addition although I see him contributing more assists than goals at the moment. I think working with another striker could be the way to get the best out of him.
Ha, in all honesty though he ran the show against West Ham and has a serious chance of racking up points.
In terms of new signings as I’ve mentioned Afobe could be a fantastic signing going forwards, I’m hopeful Demari Gray is going to start some games soon so I can keep an eye on his FPL potential. I’m interested in Amrabat, he wasn’t a clinical finisher for Malaga but can get fans on their feet and could become a real asset to Watford, he’s price dependant. I was going to go with Charlie Austin but I don’t think 7.0m reflects value considering Manchester United and Arsenal are his next two fixtures. Finally Naismith is another one to watch, going to see where Neil deploys him before I think about signing him.
Adrian certainly has an easier fixture list in his upcoming games and has a much better chance of picking up clean sheets over the next 6 fixtures. If you’re really wanting to overtake your rivals do it and get ahead of the game.
A fair point, but some people want to peel away from the template sides and Long gives them that option
I think many questioned the signing in the Summer put he’s been a wonderful addition to an impressive Stoke City side. He’s on my ‘to transfer in list’ but I’m not sure if doubling up on Stoke City defenders (Butland) would be worth it.
It looked to be an off day for Arsenal today, I’m sure they’ll bounce back against Bournemouth especially at home!
GW1 was my first week of DFF and in my team I had 3 non starters, in the shape of Mings, Walcott and Baines. I felt that all 3 of them would start and score me points. I thought Mings and Walcott were guaranteed to start purely because Mings cost so much and Theo started the Community Sheild up front. Baines was a complete error because he was injured but it makes me want to pick better this time by doing more research into every single player. I agree with what you said, I don’t blame the game; I blame my poor selection.
I spoke to a few Villa fans on twitter and asked for their starting XI’s none of them had Sinclair starting but did make a note of saying it’s almost impossible to tell who Sherwood will play. Personally I would hold off on him and see if he can nail down a starting space.
