UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Defensive Rotation:

The table above displays which teams have the best chance of keeping a clean sheet based on the bookies odds (converted into an implied chance percentage). It’s also a useful visual aid for preparing your lineups as it separates the teams into both days. Make sure that you have ALL of your Tuesday defenders in your starting lineup and if they underperform you can substitute them for your defenders who feature on Wednesday.

UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Attacking Rotation:

The table above displays which teams have the best chance of scoring two or more goals based on the bookies odds (converted into an implied chance percentage). As we previously mentioned, make sure that you have ALL of your Tuesday midfielders and forwards in your starting lineup and if they underperform you can substitute them for your players who feature on Wednesday.

UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Transfer Tips:

Mesut Ozil (€9.1m) vs. Ludogorets

The two qualification spots of Group A could be settled this Tuesday if both Arsenal and PSG breeze past their opposition like in Matchday 3. Mesut Ozil recorded a hat-trick when Arsenal faced Ludogorets at the Emirates and will be looking to find the score sheet again in Bulgaria.

Joshua Kimmich (€5.6m) vs. PSV

If you’re looking for a cheap route into the Bayern Munich attack then look no further than Joshua Kimmich. The €5.6m central midfielder has scored three goals in three Champions League matches, proving their most reliable option for fantasy returns.

Alex Grimaldo (€4.0m) vs. Dynamo Kiev

It’s starting to look like a three-horse race over in Group B with Dynamo Kiev proving the weak link. Benfica picked up a comfortable 2-0 win in Ukraine and will be looking to maximise their chances with another three points. Left-back Grimaldo has featured in every minute so far and is available for just €4.0m.

UCL Fantasy Matchday 4 Captain Tips:

We’ve listed our top captaincy options for each day of Matchday 2. If your captain from Tuesday returns less than six points we recommend changing him for a player who features on Wednesday.

Day 1:

Griezmann vs. FC Rostov

Antoine Griezmann didn’t manage to get on the scoresheet when he faced Rostov a fortnight ago, but we’re confident he’ll make up for that on Tuesday. This time the Frenchman won’t have to cope with a long trip to Russia and is coming off bagging two assists against Malaga at the weekend.

Lewandowski vs. PSV

The only defence Robert Lewandowski has failed to breach so far is an Atletico Madrid backline that hasn’t conceded so far in the competition. The striker found the net as Bayern swept PSV and Rostov and looks to be the surest guarantee of attacking returns for the German side.

Sanchez vs. Ludogorets

Whether he starts as a striker or on the wing as a result of Giroud returning, Alexis Sanchez should guarantee points. The Chilean has delivered returns in each game so far and has two goals and two assists to his name. The only caveat is he may be subbed early if the result is secure, but chances are he’ll have already scored if this is the case.

Day 2:

Ronaldo vs. Legia Warsaw

Cristiano Ronaldo comes with a goals guarantee in the Champions League. He’s the competition’s all-time top scorer and, like Sanchez, has two goals and two assists this year. Expect big points against Legia Warsaw, who appear to be the whipping boys of Group F.

Aubameyang vs. Sporting

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has notched in every Champions League game so far this year and will fancy his chances when free-scoring Borussia Dortmund host Sporting Lisbon. The German side average over two goals per game in all competitions and Aubameyang always gets his share of chances.

A. Silva vs. Club Brugge

Listed as a midfielder in the game, Andre Silva could well be a profitable if uncommon captaincy option. The 20-year-old already has a goal and assist and should be on penalties. With Porto desperate for second spot they’ll be going all out and Silva may well profit.
